How do i send a voice memo with my blackberry 8830?

The BlackBerry 8830 smart phone, and other BlackBerry phones, come with an application to record voice memos called "Voice Notes Recorder." From this application you can create, store and send voice memos directly from your phone. You do not need to upload the memo on the computer or send it through email (unless the recipient cannot receive multimedia messages).

Instructions

Open "Voice Notes Recorder" on your phone.

Press the trackball to record the voice memo. How to Send a Message From a Computer to a BlackBerry?

A BlackBerry is like the holy grail of communication devices. There are certainly multiple ways of receiving messages on a BlackBerry device---via text message, BlackBerry Instant message, or even with AOL Instant Messenger (AIM). Probably the most convenient way to send a message from a computer to a BlackBerry handheld device is to send it via email.
Instructions
 1. Get the BlackBerry email address of the intended recipient. The recipient may use an alternate email account from which their messages are forwarded to their BlackBerry device.
 2. Open your email client (e.g., Microsoft Outlook, Apple Mail or Entourage) on your computer or log on to your web-based email account.
 3. Compose a message. Mail it to the intended recipient at the email address that they use on their BlackBerry.

When I send a text it seems that its sending bit the recipient receives a blank text.

Try sending a text to your phone and see if you can receive the message that you just sent and not just a blank message. Are you using some characters or emoticons? It probably is not readable on the recipient's phone. For example, on the iPhone, one can send a message with Emoji but the other models will not be able to view it and instead just receive a blank message.

What is Bcc & cc for..?

Cc stands for carbon copy which means that whose address appears after the Cc: header would receive a copy of the message. Also, the Cc header would also appear inside the header of the received message. Bcc stands for blind carbon copy which is similar to that of Cc except that the Email address of the recipients specified in this field do not appear in the received message header and the recipients in the To or Cc fields will not know that a copy sent to these address.

How do I send pictures through SMS text on my blackberry Curve through sprint?

You can't. To send pictures or other media, you must use the MMS (Multimedia Message Service) option. Just use the option menu button in the messaging application and choose Compose MMS. After selecting the recipient, click the menu button again to add things like pictures, videos, etc. to the message. Note that sprint includes the ability to send media in your data plan, but your recipient may get charged for the message. Some carriers, even Sprint, don't include MMS in there unlimited messaging plans but rather expect you to send the picture as SMS which the Blackberry Curve can't do.

The BlackBerry smartphone user is unable to send a picture as an email message from the Media application of the BlackBerry smartphone. The Send option is not present on the menu when the email message is sent using an email account that is associated with the BlackBerry Enterprise Server.

Although the current BlackBerry Internet Service supports large attachments or attachments that are in their native format, BlackBerry Enterprise Server software version 4.0 does not.
A BlackBerry smartphone that is provisioned with the current BlackBerry Internet Service uses it as the default method for sending pictures from the camera. As a result, when attempting to send a picture attachment from an email account that is associated with the BlackBerry Enterprise Server, the Send option will be missing from the menu as the image is in native format and size.

Upgrade the BlackBerry Enterprise Server to software version 4.1 Service Pack 2 or later, since support for large attachments or attachments that are in their native format has been introduced in that version.

Follow the steps below to send the picture attachment from the Messages application on the BlackBerry smartphone:
 1. Select Messages on the Home screen of the BlackBerry smartphone.
 2. Press the Menu key.
 3. Select the Compose Email option from the menu.
 4. In the To field, enter the contact address where the email message is to be sent.
 5. Press the Menu key again.
 6. Select the Attach File option from the menu.
 7. Browse to and select the picture to be attached to the email message.
 8. Send the email message.
