What you will need to do to correct this problem is delete the series recording. in your list (push list button) highlight the program you wish to delete, push select go to "rec. series" press select. and delete ALL push select... get "ok" message, select again. and reset receiver on front panel of receiver there is a door you can open, hit the red reset button and then setup your series record again by going into the guide and pressing record twice. this will fix the problem by deleting ALL of the series record and resetting, and resetting up series record

Why dose recording in dvr goes on default date when light goes

Well, I'm trying to decipher this. Why does the recording in DVR revert to the default (date/time???) when the light goes off and comes back on.

I'm guessing you are trying to say time, not date, maybe day?

The DVR is trying to remember when a show comes on and record it, based on your settings. Usually shows come on at a specific time. DVRs usually update their scheduled recordings based on updated programming guide information. If you are constantly unplugging or causing your receiver to otherwise restart, most receivers will download an updated guide upon getting power back or restarting (DVRs themselves not having any idea how long they've been without power, download a new guide just in case after you unplugged them you moved to Arizona). During this time, the recording you set is showing the original time you set it up, because until the guide is downloaded, it has no idea that its wrong.

My best advice, even if I'm wrong about our language barrier here, stop unplugging your receiver. Leave it plugged in and powered at all times.

All times.

For ever.

How do I record a show using my DVR and i-Guide?

There are multiple ways to do this:
  1. Press the RECORD button on your remote control while watching a program to begin recording. An overlay will appear on your screen to let you know you have started recording.
  2. From the TV listings grid, highlight the show you want to record and press the Record button.
  3. From any program information screen, highlight the Record icon and press the OK/Select button on your remote to schedule a recording. Follow the on-screen prompts for additional recording options.
Manually schedule a recording for a specific time or channel:
  1. Press the MENU button on your remote control then select the DVR icon.
  2. Or, if available, press the My DVR button on your remote control.
  3. Select the start time, end time and day that you want to record.
  4. Press Confirm.
  5. In the channel list that appears, select the channel to record from.
  6. Select Record to confirm your settings or select Recording Options for additional options.

When I record programme from the tv it always cuts of at least one or two minutes before the end of the programme is there any way to fix this

Try setting the time of your DVR to be precise. If the recording starts 2 minutes before the show starts it will cut off 2 minutes before the show ends! My DVR has functions that allow me to add a minute or two before or after the times set to record, but that can cause other problems like if you are recording 2 shows and you try to record a new show after a show that was being recorded, it won't allow you to, because it can only record 2 shows at a time! Best bet is tro synchronize your watch to the Internet time and use that to sync your DVR time.

Have two in seperate rooms and neither will now record whole sries!!!

If you have added padding to the start and/or end of the recordings, this will disable series record.

In the Record Menu, set Start and End times to On Time if you want to use Series Record.

Changing the clock/internal time

The clock settings should be set to Auto so that the clock is set by the broadcasted signal; this will automatically update when the clocks change.

Note that Recording start and end times should be set to On Time to ensure that the broadcaster's start and end signals are used. If either of these are changed, the timing becomes manual, and functions such as Series Record are not available.

How i can see dvr hd716 in ipad

so far, you cannot view the Panasonic WJ-Series Recorder using other browser than Microsoft Internet Explorer. because it use ActiveX Component to view the Video.

you can acess the Web Base interface of the DVR, just input the IP Address of the DVR, set disable pop up blocker for your browser, then it will show.

in some case, other browser than Internet explorer won't show the web correctly.

Dvr restart

WARNING: this will wipe out all of your recordings, all scheduled recordings, all series recordings (your series priority list), and all manual recordings!! Write down everything you can before you do this!
  1. The DVR should be turned on. Press CABLE, POWER to turn off the box.
  2. Immediately press OK/SELECT to bring up the diagnostics page.
  3. While on this screen, press the following key sequences press the counter-clockwise arrow (REPLAY on some remotes) 2 times, then press the MyDVR (LIST on some remotes), button 3 times then the live button 2 times."Clr" will appear on the LED display.
  4. Press OK/SELECT to proceed with the reset. The STB should now reformat the HD & then perform a STB reset and begin to reload your Cable settings and Time Settings from the Head End. It will then begin to populate the Guide data over the next 2 - 24 hours.
On some systems, the button press pattern may be 1-3-1, not 2-3-2 as above. This is true for at least the DCT 3416 I on Shaw.

We cannot watch a show on another channel on other

Hello! Dan Busa here with DISH Network customer service. This is actually how your DVR is supposed to function. A 622 is a dual tuner reciever meaning it's capable of watching or recording two live shows at a time. When you record a show you tie up one tuner, there are two work arounds. You can get an additional dvr receiver or you can set up record preferences and have everything automatically record to tv2.

Dvr is programmed but at times "chooses" not to record show and other times it does record

Be sure that a DVR timer is set to fire, instead of an auto tune. Also if it is a series then make sure you select new episodes, your dvr will not recor a program if it has already recorded the same program once, ( re run) you can also check your scehdule in your dvr to check if timer has been deleted or modified.
