There is a while film through out the inside of the dishwasher and leaves a film on all dishes, glasses and silverware. Would like to know what this is caused from and what I can do to get rid of it.
The inside of the dishwasher is stainless steal.
I use powder dishwasher soap and a drying agent. I clean all the dishes before I put them in the dishwasher.

I've used all of the above and still had this problem, but only on plastics. I now only wash glass in the dishwasher and plastics by hand. And I've tried every type of dishwasher detergent (powder, liquid, tablets).
