The volume can be controlled on the s9-hd's itself for almost any device, if your source device (Phone/Mp3 player) supports AVRCP then the volume can also be controlled by the devices physical or software volumet controls.

Apparently the volume of my plantronics 925 bluetooth is very low. is there a way to adjust that volume? Thank you.

Yes, there is a way to adjust the volume on your Discovery 925 headset. See page iv to locate volume control button and page 8 for the instructions in this link for the Plantronics Discovery 925 User's Guide.

Good luck from Headsets Direct!

My ipod is just playing without the sound carrying through to the speakers. I dont know how to make it work?

Verify there is nothing plugged into the headset port, including headsets, headphones, or adapters.
Original iPhone only: While on the Home screen, adjust the volume buttons. If you see the icon below, indicating that headphones are attached, there may be debris in the headset port:

To remove debris in the headset port, try connecting a pair of headphones to the headset port and then remove the headphones. Repeat this several times.
If you have paired with a Bluetooth headset that is nearby, either use the headset or turn Bluetooth off (choose Settings > General > Bluetooth).
If that doesn't work, try restarting the iPhone. Hold the Sleep/Wake button until "slide to power off" appears. Slide to power off your device. When it is off, press the Sleep/Wake button to turn it back on.
If restarting the iPhone doesn't resolve the issue, try restoring the device.

I AM NOT ABLE TO PAIR JABRA BT135 WITH MY BLACKBERRY 9700. WHAT SHALL I DO?

Hi,Instructions on how to pair blue tooth device with black berry.

Pair Your Blackberry with a Bluetooth Headset

Turn on Bluetooth headset and Blackberry hand-held.

Enable the Bluetooth radio by going to the options window and clicking on Bluetooth. Click on Enable Bluetooth in that window.

Add your Bluetooth headset to your Blackberry by clicking on Add Device in the Bluetooth window.

Find and select the name of your Bluetooth headset from the list that appears. The Blackberry will search for all Bluetooth devices within range, so other devices might show up on the list.

Click Activate Bluetooth device if you receive a call and the Bluetooth headset does not pick up automatically.

Use your Bluetooth Headset with your Blackberry

Make sure the Bluetooth radio on your Blackberry is turned on before you try to use your Bluetooth headset.

Use the voice-dial feature to call contacts if your headset has that capability. Not all headsets support voice dialing, but more of the newer models do.

Press the on/off button on your headset to end a call or use the end button on the handheld.

Tips & Warnings

Pair your Blackberry with any Bluetooth-enabled device using the same steps as those for connecting a Bluetooth headset.

Remove your Bluetooth headset from the list of paired devices on your Blackberry by selecting and clicking on Delete Device in the Bluetooth window.

Configure your Blackberry to connect to a paired Bluetooth headset without asking for authorization in the Bluetooth Device Properties window. That will allow your headset to automatically reconnect even if you take it out of range temporarily.

Only configure a Bluetooth headset to your Blackberry once. Once you configure the pairing between the two devices, the settings are saved and you do not have to repeat the processes each time you use it.

Turn off the Bluetooth radio on your Blackberry when not in use for security reasons.

Adjust volume on your headset or hand-held to a comfortable level. Excess volume from in-the-ear headsets can cause hearing damage.

Have a nice day .

I am looking to buy a wireless bluetooth stereo headset that is compatable with my Iphone 4... Any suggestions???

I personally own the Jabra Halo, Altec Lansing Backbeat, and the Motorola MotoRokr S9HD
The Jabra Halo is about 50 bucks and goes over the ear with flat speakers.
The Backbeats are about 100, and provide channeling audio via in ear plugs, but not sound isolation.
the Motorola headset is about 100 dollars, but has issues with skipping, especially if the phone is in your back pocket.

Cant turn up the volume

Volume control, if not on the bluetooth device, can be adjusted on the cell phone depending on which cell phone it is. Try to look under bluetooth devices and if your headset is recognized you can be able to adjust volume. Otherwise.. check the manual :)

Hope you'll figure it out

Trying to connect motorola s9hd to the laptop

assuming you have bluetooth installed on your laptop,
1) you have to disable the bluetooth pairing of your s9 with another device that you may have paired with it earlier - like a mobile phone. disconnect previously paired devices first.
2) turn on the bluetooth feature on your pc and ask it to "search" for devices. assuming your s9 is on standby, your pc should be able to "locate" and pair with it assuming the s9 is within an arms length distance from the computer.
3) make sure that the s9 is completely charged to eliminate that power issues as well
