Its due to Moisture . Get it serviced and will be fine.

I found in the folder of Hp the file that does the " UPDATES".
So, thanks for the offer to help me, but all is well now with me and the Hp UPDATES.

Check the monitor on another computer to verify if using correct setting for this monitor will allow a clear image to be displayed.

In windows 7, the monitor should be detected and installed automatically.

What version of windows are you using?

You should check the video cable and also try it with another PC since it is telling you that it is not sensing the video signals from your PC.

Volume control stays on screen

hi,
while the system is turned on,
Remove all cables from monitor.
keep pressing the power button.
reseat the cables.
release the power button.
press the power button again to turn on the monitor.

It must work.
else the monitor needs repair.

No image

This monitor series( HP Compaq WF1907) seem to have a inherent problem with the sleep mode control circuit. You should take this unit into the service center for repair. Hope this helps.

No. HDMI transfers picture and sound, but DVI does not. You need a audio line as well.
