Press MENU - 2 4 1 then you can choose to have that feature ON or OFF. the +Image means that it will also print a copy of the first page sent so you can actually verify the document sent.

You can use the reports button or menu button to reports, and print out the user settings list. It shows where the settings are, and what they're set on. In fax setup you can select frequency of report printing, but the Brother machines always give a printout if a fax fails.

Iunplugged the machine for a minute then plugged it back in. Unfortunately, whatever faxes were waiting to be printed were gone and so was the activity log. But it works now.

HELLO! ON THE 4100 LIFT UP THE KEY BOARD AND YOU WILL SEE A SCANNER GLAS. CLEAN THE GLASS WITH WINDEX AND THEN TRY IT. THE REASON THERE ARE NO SPOTS ON THE CONF PAGE AS THIS IS A INTERNAL REPORT

Look at CONFIRMATION sub menu.

Scroll through the menus and select CONFIRMATION

It means that the fax was not received without errors. In other words No Good. Not that it literally means that, but all fax techs call it that.

check the device for an activity log option. you may need to check the user manual for this.
