Color and brightnes fading

It could be your main board going bad.

it sounds that the t-con board has a problem, check for burnt parts here. the t-con board is mounted covered with metal shield.

*Red/Orange looking picture

Convergence

* Screen Looks 3D, Warped, Distorted, etc

IT MAY BE SEVERAL THINGS TRY SOME OF THIS ONES ADJUST THE BACKGROUNG USUALLY BLACK LEVEL, MAYBE THE LAMPS ARE OLD AND FADING. TRY THIS TWO ITEMS.

try setting your menu;s to adjust the picture settings

Try changing the CRT coolant that will make a big difference in your pictures brightness, clarity and color level.
