Picture becomes fuzzy in different areas of the screen
As I watch cable I notice parts of the screen get fuzzy kind of looks like static noise and not always in the same spots. I connected a dvd player to a component input and have the same results when watching the dvd player. I left the dvd player playing and switched tv back to cable and when the static noise shows up I notice within this static I see the dvd picture, I switch back to dvd and when the static appears I see the cable picture in the static areas.
I'm thinking this is a switching problem
This is not a splitter problem, the problem is in the circuitry of the tv.
If I only have a dvd player connected and nothing else I will still get a static in different areas of the screen and it comes and goes regularlyThis is not a splitter problem, the problem is in the circuitry of the tv.

Invariably the HDMI cable that you are using to connect the signal is bent and pressing hard against the wall. Can you verify with other ports and other sources.
there is sinal interferences from laser products pc mobile transmitters or video games get high quality vcr and cable tv cables move or switch off any video games cd players energy saving lamps or pc and microwaves n motors like pumps change the position of installation of cable and antenna to avoid path of interference
Below are some troubleshooting tips for a TV that has a fuzzy or blurry picture;
If your Plasma or LCD TV picture is blurry or fuzzy there are several things that may be causing the problem. It's worth running through the following list before seeking service. You may find yourself saving the full cost of a TV repair.
Make sure you are using the appropriate cable box for your TV. If you have a high-definition TV you should also be using a high-def channel box from your cable provider. Watching standard definition channels on a high-def TV can make the picture look distorted and fuzzy.
Not all cable channels are broadcast in high-definition. When you stretch a standard definition picture to fill the full frame of your wide-screen TV it may look distorted. You can try changing your TV display settings to show standard-def channels at their native resolution. This will create black or gray bands on either side of your picture.
Ideally all of your video components will be connected to your TV with HDMI cables. Your next best option will be component video cables. If your cable box does not have HDMI capabilities, contact your cable company about upgrading your box to one that does include HDMI.
Make sure there is no glare on your TV from a window or other strong light source. This can significantly degrade the quality of the image you are watching.
If your TV has digital noise reduction, try turning that feature on.
You can adjust your TV's sharpness and picture modes to see if that improves picture quality.
Try plugging the power cord into a different electrical outlet and/or surge protector. You may be receiving electrical interference through your power cord.
Trying moving any nearby electrical devices away from the TV. They may be creating interference that can degrade the picture quality.

Inside the set you should see a large part with a red wire coming out the top. That is the flyback transformer. There will be 1 or 2 controls on the back of it. One should be labeled screen and one focus. Carefully adjust the focus one until the picture is again in focus. Please note that in that area are high voltages (33,000V) that can be dangerous. Be careful where you touch. IT is best to have a mirror so you can see the picture while adjusting the focus control.
Any set can be repaired it is the question of the cost and the availability of the parts.
The fuzzy lines with static noise is probably from an arcing in the high voltage multiplier or in the flyback windinngs. I am very sure that the flyback assembly with the high voltage multiplier, and most likely the horizontal output transistor will have to be changed just to start. It is also possible that there may be some failure in the power supply as well.
The set would have to be serviced by an experienced TV tech. As for the cost, it will be a bit expensive.
ok,normally the cable connection that in deployed in the home is only good for 2 tv.and if you add for one,it will become fuzzy. I could suggest that connect other one cable line
Sounds like you may have something generating interference, such as a bad cable shield on maybe a ground connection inside your tv. You might try moving the cables while watching the
screen and see if the pattern changes.
Double pictures on a screen can be caused by "ghosts", which means that you're getting two signals--- one slightly behind the other.
Anything oscillating generating a radio frequency may radiate into your circuits causing this strange problem.
Stargazer
can you tell me what the splitter looks like
This is not a splitter problem, the problem is in the circuitry of the tv.
