My rotten kid turned on parental lock on the Mitsubishi CS-35203 do not have manual and original remote...using Sony Commander (RM-AV3000) works fantastic but can't shut off parental lock.
Never had original Mitsu-remote as we purchased TV online with Sony Commander and never used parental locks---connected to DVD and VHS player etc, that works fine---just need to remove lock!
How do we shut off parental locks and return TV back to normal usage--be advised I'm buying a Sponge Bob Square Pants remote for the rotten kid that did this...LOL! He's looking over my shoulder and not laughing!
Any assistance would be thankful!

Sorry to be the one to inform you Sheri, but this set is known to have several bad capacitors in the sweep as well as the power supply. Unless you have an ESR type capacitor checker, your going to have to take it in for service, by a pro. Hope yopu did'nt pay to much for it. Good Luck

I had no luck finding anything for this model number even on the Mitsubishi site. How old is this set?
I would try programming the remote to some alternate codes for Mitsubishi products. It sounds like it's not programmed correctly. If you don't have the codes I would search the web for your brand of universal remote to see if you can find it's instructions. Lastly, on the topic of the remote, most universal remotes have a method to program even when you don't know the codes. This usually involves turning on the TV then putting the remote into a specific mode and hitting the power button until the TV shuts off.
How are you connecting the dvd/vcr? Are you using a single coaxial cable (the kind with the threaded connector) or are you using composite cables (yellow, red, and white plugs) or some other type of cable? If you're using the coaxial cable then you will typically find the signal on channel 3 or 4 on the TV when the source is set to tuner. If you're using one of the other methods then you will need to find a button on the set labled something like "Video Source" or "TV/Video". If you hit that button the TV will switch through it's input sources. It's very possible that this feature will not be available on your Universal remote even if it's programmed properly. You may have to select the source on the TV itself.

you must enter the factory service mode, and re-setting the code of EEPROM use the remocon to enter the service menu.. here press on the remocon picture mode and display to see on the screen the service menu.. let me know if it is go on.

I have a mitsubishi tv Model Cs-27303. My friends hit some button on the remote one day and i never figured out what happened. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I CANT EVEN TURN THE CHANNEL AND THERES ONLY THE PARENTAL LOCK CHANNEL THAT SHOWS UP EVERY TIME I TURN ON THE TV!!!!!!
I am the same person who had the children hit the remote button. I was able to get a solution to the problem but I dont understand it. It says...at the same time press the button 9 and QV. That will bypass the lock and hit the menu button and they will let u change ur password and u need to write it down. WHAT IS QV???? i've looked and looked but they really dont have QV on my remote. If anyone reads this plz plz plz try to help me. I would really hate to see a good tv go to waste!!!
