Look inside the machines steel body

You may find a diagnostic manual taped inside

May have to tip it up & reach up to get it out

You may have an electronic control board issue
IF the machine is fairly new or a failed water solenoid

If you want to pay for service, it is usually not worth the cost
& you will wait at least two weeks for someone to show up

So hopefully a service manual & the ability of someone in the
family to use a volt meter, you can find & solve yourself

Lots of appliance parts stores to get parts
Use the computer or yellow pages to find them

Try on google, To do a search.There are sites where you can download manauls for no charge, I found the owners manaul for my adcom Power Amp that way. End it is over 15 years old.

hi, any sewing machine can give you problems, but as long as you have a instruction manual & have it serviced at least once a year, or even twice, depending on how much the person sews,
& keeping under the needle plate & bobbin area clean of lint or loose threads, & keep the machine covered when not in use which keeps dust off the machine. using the right needle for the machine.
never buy one just because it's a bargin like at a yard sale or estate sale unless all the parts are there, like the power cord & foot pedal & instruction manual, the feet and always make sure you can get parts for them
I've seen alot of people wanting manual & you can't get them unless their willing to pay between $10. to 20 dollars.

Hi. All of you should goto www.kitchenaid.com and enter your model# into the search window. You can download Operators and Parts manuals for your model. Kitchenaid does not provide Service Manuals but the parts drawings will be very helpful with disassembly and reassembly.
