see the causes and use the common sense, God bless you. If your washer won't drain, check these:It spins, but doesn't pump It doesn't spin or pumpIt pumps, but the water returnsIt spins, but doesn't pumpIf
your washer spins but doesn't pump the water out, the drain line is
probably clogged. In many washers, a small sock or other piece of
clothing can get between the clothes tub and the outer tub that holds
the water. If the clothing gets between the tubs, it may then get into
the drain hose that's attached to the pump--or even into the pump
itself. If it's in the pump, you need to remove the hoses from the pump
and pull the item out.To
remove the sock from the outer tub port, open the washer's main access
panel and remove the large-diameter rubber hose that connects the pump
to the bottom of the outer tub. Then, using needle-nose pliers, try to
grab and remove the clothing through the port. Sometimes
you can't remove the stuck clothing from below. Then you have to remove
the agitator, top of the outer drum shield, and inner clothes tub. This
isn't easy to do--and you may need special tools--so you might be
happier getting a qualified appliance repair technician to do the job.If
the drain line isn't plugged, the problem may be with your pump. Even
if the pump appears to be turning, the internal impeller may be broken.
If so, you need to replace the pump.It doesn't spin or pumpIf
your washer doesn't spin or pump water out but the motor is running,
your washer probably has a frozen pump pulley. If so, you need to
replace the pump. To check the pulley, remove the pump from the washer
and try to rotate the pulley manually. If it doesn't turn freely--if
it's frozen or stiff--replace it. It pumps, but the water returnsIf
the water that pumps out of the machine goes back into the machine
after the spin cycle, your washer may be siphoning the water from a
laundry tub that has a slow drain, back into the washer. The usual
remedy for this is to improve the draining of the laundry tub. (Is
something stuck in the drain?) Also, check for these problems:If the drain hose reaches more than about 4 inches into the laundry tub, cut off the excess. If your drain hose is lower than the washer's cabinet, install an air gap/siphon break assembly.
Sounds like your inlet hose is clogged. shut off the water supply to the washer, unsrew the inlet supply hose that is attached to the water dupply, There should be a screen in the end of the hose make sure there is no gunk blocking the screen. If that doesn't work then you may have a faulty water pump in the washer. Those are usally located on the under side of the washer. You can locate the by following the water line down to the pump. Hope this helps
As it's new it will still be under guarantee/warantee? I strongly advise you contact their service desk as you could invalidate the guarantee by following other's guidance. I'm interested in why you have shut off the hot water? Once the temperature is selected by the user, the washer automatically uses a mix of hot and cold water, or just selects cold for rinses etc..
Has the 'LF' been coming on BEFORE or after you shut off the hot water?
If this has assisted and/or clarified the situation for you please consider a 4 thumbs up on our rating.
Thanks and good luck!

There is an electrically controlled water valve for both hot and cold water on the back of the washer, do both settings not shut off? if it is just the cold pull the washer out and replace the cold water solenoid water valve.
If you mean you have no cold water entering machine/most likely cause is plugged screen at water inlet valve. shut cold water valve of remove line at washer clean screen inside valve put back togeather test for leaks test for cold water good luck..................................
all rinse cycles are filled with cold water to keep the clothes from wrinkling.set up the washer to run with just cold water.start it,if no water comes into washer, shut down your house water valve that fills the washer, take off the cold water hose, stick it in the washer or if there's a sink or where ever and turn on the water,if water comes out of the hose then you need a new water valve on the washer
Check the water shut off valves behind your washer. Make sure they are full open (turn counter-clockwise).
Turn the shut off valve off (full clockwise). Disconnect the hose and try running it into a bucket from the valve to make sure you have good water flow.
Check the hose from the shut off valve and make sure it's not kinked stopping water flow.
Turn shut off valve off completely...disconnect hose and look at the end that attaches to the washer. Is the metal screen clogged? Look at the water inlet on the washer where hose attaches and make sure there are no obstructions.
Likely your hot water tank is filling with sand as well! Make sure that you drain it off regularly. As for the well, it might help to raise the pump elevation (if you have the water level to do so) some to get it out of the sand, although the sand will probably eventually fill in the bottom of the well. Can you get the well driller to install a sand filter? Not good for pump impellers either. As for the washer, take the dryer off and set it aside. Unplug the power cord. When you remove the top, that should expose the upper side of the solenoid valves. Sand has probably been embedded in the valve seat and/or plunger faces. The valve pair can removed by disconnecting the wiring (keep track of where the colors go) and the exit hose(s) plus several screws. If the valve can be disassembled, clean both parts of any embedded sand, otherwise replace the valve. Put things back together and test with the dryer still off. You might run the cold water faucet into a bucket to flush the line before every wash. The hose screens obviously don't stop everything. Good luck!
You may have a burnt motor. This is usually caused by a clog in the pump. Sometimes small items such as socks find its way to the pump. It could also be the timer itself. If there is a burning smell when that happend it is probably the motor.
does the cold and hot shut off at med. and high?it sounds like your cold water valve solinard is sticking and needs to be changed,(very easy fix,let me know more-mike
