sounds like there might be an unexplainable hole in the underside of the engine, possibly from engine being blown up, maybe it has been run low of engine oil?
The pull cord is like a starter on a car (separate
from the motor/engine). If the pull cord will not turn it could be because the
motor/engine is seized.
All internal combustion engines use oil of some description. I take it this is a 2 cycle engine and you have not added oil to the gas. If this is the case the engine is locked up, and must be replaced. Sorry.
The hour meter displays the total operating time. It will flash CHG OIL (Change Oil) at 50 hour intervals. The flash duration is one hour before and one hour after the interval. The CHG OIL icon will come on and shut off automatically. The hour meter can not be manually reset.
first I would put in the proper amount of oil, once you are sure the level is full and if the light still comes on, pull the wire from the oil pressure sending unit, the light should go off with key on, if the light goes off then the sensor is bad. replace sensor
