Deleted mail box and tried to add same mail box-stating already

i need to delete a mail box and add the same ext. but the phone states already exists.please help

    thank you that worked but now I still can add the mail box I want, I had deleted it and then tried to reenter mail box and it says it deleted but yet it still says when i want to add it that it still exist... what do i need to do, I should have never deleted that mail box.

    ok i got it fixed she can get to her mail box but on her phone in her office its vmail is from the general delivery for the whol office how do we change it so when she enters feat 981 it pops up her vmail and not the gen. del.?

The general delivery mailbox might be attached to the extension. Check mailbox 100 to see which extension is attached to it.

    The only other thing i can think is maybe another subscriber mailbox is attached to that extension. i.e. mailbox 222 is attached to extension 223.

    Enter feature 985 the display will have the main voicemail port listed and "ok"

    enter 9

    password is 73738767793

    reset password:yes

    rls



    the login should be reset to 1020000

    this one is really odd,is there anything special about the mailbox or extension i.e info mailbox or guest mailbox? Did you try re-deleting the mailbox?

    You'll need to atach the general delevery mail box to another extension.

    thats done thru feature 983 1020000 mbox chng 100 next and where it asks for an extension change it to the new extension. press release when finished.

How do I set up a private line v/m?

If others have voicemail on their phones then you know your system has a VM circuit card. To activate your voicemail you have to go to the individual who has admin rights to the voicemail. When they log in to their voicemail, they have manager options to reset passwords, activate or delete mailboxes, re-record the main greeting for your business, ect. Hopefully they keep a notebook with this info 'cause no one ever remembers all the steps. Also, make sure your ext is forward-no-answer to voicemail or it'll still just ring and ring. Usual code for FwdNA is 43, and 44 to cancel. Usual ext for voicemail is 200 or 300.

Mail isn't opening at all, it keeps saying invalid URL

If using Internet Explorer;

1 Click TOOLS in the taskbar.

2 Scroll down to INTERNET OPTIONS

3 On GENERAL TAB, under BROWSING HISTORY, click DELETE

4 Verify all boxes checked, click DELETE

5 After dialog disappears, click CONTENT TAB

6 Click CLEAR SSL STATE

7 Click OK on dialog, close browser and re-open.

8 Re-enter username and password on mail site.

I cannot get email page when i sign into yahoo Every time i click on mail the page is blank with a toolbar stating number of unread mail

Try to do the steps below, maybe this would help.

Internet Explorer :
1. Open Internet explorer > Tools > Internet Option
2. On the General Tab under Browsing History, click on Delete
3. On the pop up windows that opens, make sure all check box are checked that has cookies, temporary files, and etc..., then click on delete
4. Just close and re-open Internet Explorer

Mozilla Firefox
1. Open Mozilla Firefox > Tools > Clear Private data
2. On the pop up windows, make sure all boxes are checked as well and click on delete.
3. Close and reopen Mozilla Firefox.

My mail box won't open.When i try to check my mail a box shows up stating that my mail box will not open,due to browser or firewall?????

May you can try this :

1. The date on your computer needs to be set properly -- double click the clock verify that
the time and date are set.
2. Clear your IE cache and cookies -- open Internet Explorer, click the Tools menu, then
Internet Options, then click the Delete Files button, and when that's complete click the
Delete Cookies button.
3. Check your IE Security settings -- open Internet Explorer, click the Tools menu, then
Internet Options, then Advanced tab, scroll to the Security section, and verify that "Check
for server certificate revocation" is unchecked. Also verify that 'Use SSL 2.0' and Use SSL
3.0' is checked, then click OK.
4. Click Start, then Run, and enter the following:
regsvr32 softpub.dll
then click OK
5. Restart messenger and IE

Compromized computer

A yahoo account or any other account online has nothing to do with your PC. If you can not get into your account it is the server
at yahoo not your PC. If it is just a problem with the web page
where you sign in then it is your cookies,just do as the other post says, and if your using firefox,tools,clear private data. But if your logged on to it and can't do anything that is there problem.
Any problems with internet are either the browser or the site,there is no need to restore PC as it is not the computer's fault.

HOW DO INDIVIDUALS RECORD PERSONAL GREETINGS?

It's done in the same manner. You dial the voice mail port from the extension and it should gate into the user's mailbox...if it exists.
By default the extension is 165 or 500, but it could be different.
If they never had working voice mail, they'll probably get the tutorial. If they did and it's someone else's box, you can delete it as an administrator (from 999 not 998) and add it again and it will clear the box and come up as a new user.

Once the box is established from remote or a different extension than their own, they can press #6 *ext at the main greeting to access their mailbox.

Mystery Icon

That is actually the icon for the new voicemail. if you have already checked on that voicemail, but the icon is still there, try saving or deleting that voicemail, and if it persists, it may be a problem with your provider. you can actually just factory reset to remove that icon altogether, but make sure you've backed things up before doing so.
