Forgot my drivelock password

First thing to do is to remove the DriveLock password or reset it back the default one.
Remove the BIOS Battery and all other power sources of your laptop (including the main battery) at least 10 minutes.
Then press and hold down the power button for a few seconds to discharge the laptop completely.
Good luck!

How to resets bios for compaq 2514 at

Why? What happend? Is it asking for a BIOS password?
If it is asking you have to short two jumpers on the systemboard to have it reset.
If not, just go in to BIOS by pressing F2 then restore or optimize default settings on BIOS.

Hope this helps...
