Freeserve email settings

I usually log onto my freeserve email via orange home page.can receive emails o.k but cannot send.If I log on via orange webmail page (which I don't use much as I don't like the format)the problem is the same.this has happened before but my localIT shop fixed it.I would like to be able to fix it myself!

try to click on the send / receive button and check if it will download new emails from the server to outlook without logging out and logging in from the outlook.

Not familiar with this service. I assume you have notified this company and they say the problem is on yoiur end?

Download CCleaner at www.ccleaner.com. Run the program and clean everything. Download the program Spybot Search and Destroy at http://www.safer-networking.org/index2.html
Install, update and scan for Trojans and spyware, delete everything found. Go back to CCleaner, run and use its registry cleaner. reboot and test.

I signed up for the trial period sometime ago, when I try and log in it tells me my log in details are incorret, I get an email to reset my password but it does not direct me to the right page

where did you initiate the password reset? via the initial email they sent you when you signed up for the trial or did you click a password reset link on their login page?
email links can have problems so try to work via the official websites login page, another thing to look out for is an email confirming your password reset as they usually send an email to confirm the change and you usually have to click a link to confirm before it works so maybe you missed this link(check your junk inbox), if this fails initiate the password reset(via the forgot password link on their websites login page) then if you still can't login go to the websites home page and look for the "contact us" link and i am sure they will help you out.

I forgot my password to my twitter acount

    How do I access my freeserve email account through outlook

    Hi
    I don't know which version of Outlook you have but you need to go to >Accounts>Settings. The settings you need are
    Incoming server:- pop.orangehome.co.uk and your logon details for this are your freeserve username which is the full email address and the password you used when setting up the account or subsequently changed to.
    Outgoing server:- the settings here are exactly the same as for the email address given to you by your ISP, as outgoing mail always has to go through the ISP.
    You don't have to access your email through Outlook. If you go here:

    Login to paypal

    How do i send my photos to my facebook

    To send photos on Facebook, you can use your personalized upload email address to email a photo/video from your mobile phone. The uploaded content will then appear in your Mobile Uploads album. Since this is your personal email address, which will send content directly onto your Facebook account, be sure not to share it with anyone else.

    Can I send an email to my daughters orange phone from my PC and would I use her hotmail address or can I use her mobile number with say @orange.co.uk

    If your daughter has a wap or Internet-enabled phone, using Orange World is one of the easiest ways for her to access her webmail.

    There’s nothing she needs to set up. She'll simply open Orange World on her Orange phone, go to “Tools”, then “Read your email” and finally select her email provider.

    She'll then be taken to her email provider’s wap site. From there it’s just like logging on to your email with a web browser.

    What does she need?
    • A wap or Internet-enabled Orange phone
    • A compatible email address (see list of providers)
    • To use this service you’ll need an email provider who has a wap site. Currently you can use this service with the following email providers:
      *Currently, Hotmail only works with a limited number of handsets.
    Set up

    How to i close out my myspace account?????

    1. Log into your MySpace account using your username and password.

    2. If you are not already at your MySpace editing page click on the "Home" link at the top of the page.

    3. Click "Account Settings" in the box at the top of the page.

    4. On the "Change Account Settings" page you will see a small link at the top of the page, right above your account settings, that says "Cancel Account". Click this link.

    5. You will receive an email confirming your account deletion. Read the email and follow the directions.

    6. You have now deleted your MySpace account. You can now create a new MySpace profile if you wish
