Sharp AR-M237 had toner replaced and worked for about an hour before getting f2-02 error. When booting up the copier will display "Toner Replenishment in Progress." Then display shows the F2-02 error

It sounds like you have a bad toner cartridge. There is a chip on the rear end of the toner that is sometimes defective. It doesnt happen often, but it happens. blog.equipmybiz.com

F2 errors means problem with toner supply or toner cartridge itself. For better understanding it is necessary to obtain a subcode by pressing START key. Clean toner cartridge CRUM chip contacts and check if cartridge destination is proper for your area.
your toner should be AR-270NT or AR-310NT. Try cleaning off the brass colored contacts in the plug on the back of the toner cartridge. The toner may also be faulty (try another) Also the contacts inside the copier may need to be cleaned by your copier technician.
Since this appears to be a non-US model I can only base my response on the closest US body type AR-M237.
U2-40 means the countdown (CRUM) chip in your toner cartridge either broke or went to zero. If you can put in a fresh CRUM chip in your cartridge, that's great, otherwise you'll have to replace the toner cartridge.
L4-01 means main motor lock, probably due to a brownout or otherwise missed timing. You can probably get by with a power off and on. Not sharing your copier with other devices on the same outlet will also help here.
To reset error codes, put the machine in test mode with the four-key combo: # - * - C - * ... 16-Start clears your U2 trouble, 14-Start and 17-Start clear the rest. Then hit CA and allow your copier to reboot. Good luck!
on this code you may have to clean out the developing unit and start with fresh developer. Make sure the developer unit is not leaking from one of the bearings. You may need a tech for this one...
