Motorola CE0168 number pad not working

So the phone I have is the motorola hint, QA30, actually identical in design (except square, red and black) and I have similar problems, my right navigator (right shoulder) and my up and left buttons, as well as my send button, will randomly stop working, I find (in all seriousness, no joke) that sometimes hitting the phone (lightly of course) seems to get the buttons to work again,

you should not charge it overlimit

you will need to replaced the flexcable on the phone also try having the keypad flexfile reflash in the phone. To correct this issue

clean pcb boar specially keypad board.. check vol. swicth and all switch located at side of fone if shorted...

press the read button and hold it down til itm comes on ?

unfortunately, you'll have to do a master reset on your phone. You'll loose all of your data. TO do this.. power off the phone. Then press the center select button (silver button on navigation pad) then power on the phone while keeping the sliver button pressed. You should get a Master reset prompt.. click Yes.

Oh my gosh!!!! It worked!!! It really worked! I had my phone in the back pocket of my jeans when I went outside in a heavy rainstorm to get to my car. When I got to school (I'm a teacher) I realized my phone wouldn't work...except for the power button. None of the other buttons worked at all...AND...GULP....the water indicator sticker inside was red. I got my second graders busy, then looked on here for some help on what to do. I read the comment about how the person laughed, but banged the phone on her knee after reading about banging the phone....not thinking it would work...and it DID! I'm SO happy!!!! Thank you

I had a common problem which none of my keys worked except the "off" key. I baked my phone in the oven on the lowest setting for 20-30 minutes and it works now. It is a humidity issue.

is your phone been dropped or wet? check local service center near our place.

Either put it in the freezer for a while, or on a heating pad, believe me, it sounds weird, but it does help.
