He told you what sensor to replace. Replace it. You don't have to replace any of the other ones. Plus , you can drive your car like that. It will still stop with out ABS...

Use a go/nogo tester to check the on switch. I suspect it needs replacing.

did your old diverter have a shut off knob on it? if so you may have not noticed it leaking, -what causes that is the existing shower faucet may have been mounted to high from the spout below -or the pipe going down from existing fixture to the tub faucet spout pipe may not be at least 3/4", -if its 1/2" it will always do that

Back to basics, fresh fuel in the tank, replace the fuel filter in the tank, does it have a spark, try a new plug.

Is the water turned on OR the water hose connected to the tank?

Valve needs adjustment (Small screws on top) or replaced. tank ball rod bent or turned down.Depends on model.

Hope this will hep to diagnose the issue if it is VGA cable that is faulty of something else.

Make a note where your water level is then the tank is full. Replace the assembly that lets the water in with a Fluidmaster 400A fill valve, available at your local plumbing supply store.

Try to replace the power transformer (charger ) !
