I cant get this d**n thing to work, it wont even charge, not while plugged in the computer, not while plugged directly into the wall, and the manual was less than no help at all!! should i just go buy a different MP3/4 player, or does someone know a solution to my problem?
Manbo Mano 4 GB want it to list tiltes and artist and songs in chinese, it shows chinese in the file name only.
Where is the set up file ?
Ok, charging anything via usb and a computer is a slow road. Try the charger that came with. If that fails, try a different device's usb charger. Some (myself included) are having luck with that. I was having the same problem. Can move files, but no charge. I'm using a cell charger and it seems ok so far.
Are you sure it's not charging? What makes you think it's not charging? When you plug the USB cord in (and it's attached to the charger or the PC)a screen should appear temporarily. It shows a picture of a PC with a usb cable coming out of it. Are you not even seeing that much? Remember that this is a no-name Chinese player, so don't expect iPod or iRiver quality. I didn't think mine turned on, but that's because the on/off switch was sticky and because you need to press play once or twice after it's turned on to get it to do anything. But so far, mine's working fine.

I have the same problem. I had one that was working fine (as fine as this shabby product ever did), and I let the battery run all the way down. Now it will not charge or turn on when plugged into USB, and I'm suspecting that it will never power up again. Wow, a charging system that will not charge unless there is power to the unit!
I can't believe Fry's even carried this product - oh, wait, yes I can!
