I fail to sign in my yahoo account .unable to log in

You most likely need to reset your account...just hit the link that says can't get into account or something close and follow the steps...just had the same problem with Daughters account.

Try Clearing the cache and all cookies, restart the browser and try logging in to access your mail again.

had the same problem starting Aug 11, 2010 - mid day. It is strange. I've reported it to yahoo, and they are taking a long time. I've had my account for more than 10 years. It is something on their end for sure.

You must first check if the problem is with your e-mail account. Log in on your email account using your email address and password. If your were unable, settle first the issue with yahoo mail before you can log in with yahoo messenger.

If you can access your mail account, before signing in to yahoo messenger verify for capital letters in your password. If you are sure the password is correct, then the last option is to get in the answer and question portion of yahoo messenger to send to your e-mail the correct password on your yahoo messenger account. Click Forget Password to start the verification and reset your password.

I faced the same problem today. After brain storming and my experience I found a way back to my mail. You need to install yahoo messenger and try login, might take a couple of times. If log in is successful it will show you a message " ___ new mails" click on that and you are in.
To check whether your Account name has been taken or not, just click on Sign up at yahoo and put your account name in and check for the availability. It should show this account is not available.
Alternatively you can visit "meebo.com" and you can try login there, but you can not access your emails there, though you can chat with your friends even in your university.

ok, in my case i remembered I tried using a proxy on internet explorer and forgot to put it off, so the proxy connection was still on even though the proxy was dead.

It now a proven fact to me that internet explore settings are linked to yahoo mess!
so make sure your internet explorer is working ok without proxy:

1. Open your Internet Explorer
2. Go to Tools > Internet Options then click the Connections tab
3.Click the LAN Settings button and a new dialog box will open
4. At the new dialog box, look for the Proxy server checkbox, if this is checked, uncheck it.
5. Then your done, click OK button for the dialog boxes.
6. Try logging in to your Yahoo Messenger account.

Hi yahoo

i am unable to log in my yahoo account..if i typed my user name and password ..again it comes same log in page ..

and i am able to access my email in my blackberry device ..only my desktop i am not able to log in ...

pls help me some one for this problem it will grate for me

I am not able to see my yahoo mail every time, I get logged in, account gets open, but unable to check my mail. Please help me or do something.
