I am unable to send pictures from my motorola razr v3 black,text messages are o.k. I am using my virgin sim card from my old sony. Does my v3 have to be registered with virgin to send pictures? Please any ideas? Duncan.

Thanks for using FixYa. If you have Motorola phone tools installed in your system, then you can directly copy the messages from the phone to your Computer. And, if you are unable to see the messages through the SIM card reader then the messages would be in the phone and not SIM.

contact your service provider for mms settings

they are not gone just reinsert the old sim and you should have your msgs

You cannot send a file as a text message you'd have to send it as an MMS message

what network are you using with this phone, let me know and i can give you the correct service number and this will sort the problems, another way is to ring your service provider and ask for a sim update

contact your mobile carrier customer care line and have them correct the issue or take the phone into the store

Guest - you need to take the phone and have the keypad replaced.

nende - you need to replaced the main-board or buy a new phone.

There is a program to unlock the Razor but is limit to some Razor model down load and try ......good luck and rate me..

Go to Motorolas website https://motorolasetup.tarsin.com/sendappsettings.htm and select exact model of phone follow the directions and they will send you update for the phone. I did not realize that I needed to do this I bought my phone through internet and did not understand why could not send pics as my provider said that I shoud be able to. Now I can hope this works. Perhaps ask your network provider to send you a new SIM card with MMS capability - remember to ask to keep your number.
Once you receive the SIM, you will have to call your network provider's customer service department to activate it.
The whole thing takes around 3 days to do, and it's worth it just to find out.
