My Daewoo DSB 091L unit has started to drip condensate from the casing joint underneath the front drainage tray. I have cleaned the blocked drain pipe and proved the water drains away. The condensate drip seems only to happen during the compressor is in cooling cycle. Maybe the flexible drain pipe is perished. How do I change the flexible drain pipe?

Make sure that the flexible pipe is securely connected to the drainpan, it can come adrift and cause leaking. The way to check this is to make sure everything is dried out completely. Then open the front grill and carefully pour water so that it goes only into the drip pan. Pour slowly so that you do not overflow the pan. If water is coming out on the outside and you have no leaks on the inside, then you can rule out the perished or disconnected drainpipe theory. In this case your unit may be short of refrigerant causing excessive run time and a freeze up of the evaporator.

How do I clean the condensation drain on my Fridgidaire fac127s1a?

Good Morning Friend,

I understand you want to know how to clean the condensation drain on your Frigidaire air conditioner, model# FAC127S1A. I see that the drain seems to be blocked, as water is collecting in the drain pan, and beginning to leak from the front. The drain hole is located beneath the compressor. You would have to get underneath that to clean the drain. You might want to try tilting your air conditioner slightly to the outside, to allow better water drainage. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

Daewoo side by side freezer leaking even though water turned off also icing up at bottom of freezer

Probably a blocked drain outlet or pipe. At the bottom rear of the unit, mine had a drain pipe blocked with a plug of mould (5/6 years old machine), apparently quite common. I detached the pipe and cleaned it out and replaced it.
From inside the freezer, I removed the lower back panel and thawed the ice build up on the drainage tray below the defrost heating element, leading to the pipe outside. The puddles of water that was appearing every defrost cycle have now stopped - permanently I hope. Hope this helps you

Plugged drainage line from ac condenser

The drain is plugged inside the blower motor case, remove the AC/Heater blower motor and clean out the leaves or mouse nest you will find in there. The blower motor is on the passenger side under the dash.

It's leaking water from underneath the unit

Hi there, I know that most units have a drip tray at the back or under the unit itself. well the older ones anyway, not sure with really new ones, but they shoukd. these trays hod water condensation and any drainage from the fridge itself. These trays sometimes have a coil in them which heats and help to evaporate the waterso that it does not overfill and spill out. these trays can become overfilled, the heating elemet can stopworking or

Water drips into the camper through the foam rubber air intake, after it runs for awhille

Sounds like your drains for drip pan under the evaporator area are plugged. They are located at the base of the AC unit on roof. Look real close under AC unit near front, for a hole in base plate of AC on each side. Water ( condensation ) should be dripping out of those holes pretty steady when running.
You should have an inch or so clearance between base of AC and roof to try and get a bent piece of wire, or similar in to hole and try to clean it out. If that doesn't help you will have to remove plastic cover and remove all the screws that hold the front cover over the evaporator and remove the front metal cover. Look down at base of the coils and fins and you will see a drip pan that has small holes at each end for drainage. They will get plugged up with debris, thus poor, if any drainage. I use a long air nozzle and a small compressor to blow them and the tray out to clean it well. That will usually cure your problem. Please remember to shut all power to AC, off at breaker panel before removing the cover on roof to avoid electrical shock.

Unable to locate the drainage for condensed water. I could look inside and see that water is accumulating at the bottom. Feddlers AEJ12E7AG, window unit. Thank you

Hello, most window units evaporate the condensate by having the fan blad sling the water on the condenser. Because the condenser is warm/hot it will evaporate. You shou.d be hearing a sloshing sound after the unit has benn running for a while, this indicates that the fan blade is picking up the water from the bottum of the ac.

My LG Split AC leaks, the water drips from the front right side (inside the room, where it is installed) instead of from the drainage pipe (outside the room). What to do?

Hello, make sure the unit is tilted back somewhat so the Condensate can drain toward the back and not collect up in the front. Also, make sure the drain tube is not obstructed or blocked with sludge.

Leaking water on floor, even without water hooked up. Seems to be coming from under the fridge

Your freezer defrost drainage tube may not be routed to the evaporator tray under the refrigerator. If this is the case, humidity condensed from the freezer, then drained down the tube will be dripped onto the floor.
The second theory is that the drainage tube could be blocked. Humidity in the freezer is removed from the air sent to a drainage tray, at the rear of the freezer, which has a drainage tube which carries the water to an evaporation tray at the bottom of the refrigerator unit, on my GE. if the drainage tube is blocked, the water will find another route. Check the drainage tube after you find it. First try inspection. if there is standing water in tray in the freezer, use a flexible wire to clear the tube.
Good luck!
