Washed liner, need to know how to put car seat back together

We just purchased a 2004 Safety 1st model 22-235-DTA off craigslist. Only need it for 5 days when our grand son is visiting. I took it apart to wash it and now need an instruction manual for putting it back together. HELP! THANKS!

My car seat is a Cosco and I had the same problem. I googled "cosco carseat", found thier web site and typed in my model number for the online manual. I have the Alpha Omega Elite. Here's the website if that's the one you need. It took me a few tries typing in the model number in the exact format they accepted (no dashes in thise case). I am guessing you could call the manufacturer's number that is on the car seat as well or try going to your manufacturer's website to see if you can download a printable manual. I have an area in our laundry room that I designate for manuals ranging from our stove to the kids furniture to my husband's power tools and the furnace... this seems to work since I can just go to this place; unforunately, my car seat manual was not there, but I am printing out a new one to place there. When we're ready to sell any of our appliances or kid's furniture, I think it will be a better sale if I have the manual to go with the item. GOOD LUCK!

Website I used: http://www.coscojuvenile.com/Instructions

Go to the manufacturer's web site and download the manual.

SOURCE: washed liner, need to know how to put car seat back together

HI, I tried to research for you and find the manual. I typed in the info you provided at the safety1st.com website. This was the reply I got: Thank you for contacting Dorel Juvenile Group. At this time we do not have your instruction manual available for download. Please contact Consumer Relations by email at [email protected], by fax at 1-800-207-8182, or by phone at 1-800-544-1108 and your instruction manual will be sent to you. HOpe fully you can get the help you need from the associates there. :)
P.s. As a mother of 4 I feel compelled to mention to you the following, as I am sure you are unaware of it. Please keep in mind I am not trying to be rude at all, just want to help you be aware of some startling facts. I am a big 2nd hand buyer when it comes to most all things baby and kids. You can truely get a bargain on things this way. However, the one definate thing you shouldn't buy is a car seat. And the reasons are due to the 3 yr rule (they always recommend you not use a seat more than 3 yrs old as they are always inventing safer ones) and you simply don't know 100% if this seat has never been involved in an accident! When seats are involved in an accident, it shifts things and makes the seat unreliable in it's security to properly protect your child. They always recommend replacing a seat after you have been involved in an accident yourself due to this. Good luck to you putting the seat back together! They aren't easy that is for sure!! :)

Put straps back together washing

Sorry, It's not safe to wash the straps of a car seat. Do not submerge or put in the washing machine, spot clean only.
If you need new ones, contact the manufacturer, all car seats have the product information on the bottom back or side so you can call for help, get a manual, order new parts, etc.
