1.) Turn the printer off.
2.) Hold the 'go' button while turning the printer on. All panel lights should be on.
3.) Release the 'go' button once all lights are off.
4. )Press the 'go' button 2 times.
5.) Pause.
6.) Press the 'go' button 5 times.
7.) The toner light should be off.
8.) The paper light should be on.
9.) Close cover. The ready light should be the only light on.
Once all steps are successfully completed your "low toner" light should be fixed.

My brother printer HL-2035 keeps jamming the paper. I have changed the drum and toner and the drum light is still on when it prints. Can you help please?

I think you need to reset the consumables counter to clear the drum warning light as the printer can't automatically recognise new parts. If you've bought a genuine Brother drum unit there will be detailed instructions inside the box as to how you reset it which usually involves holding down the only button whilst switching the machine on. As for the paper jams, it could be something as simple as loading less paper and fanning it to get some air between the sheets before sliding it into the tray or it could be that you need to buy a new paper feed kit which is fairly cheap and easy to install.

Brother HL 2040 drum light flashing after drum replacement

The drum light is triggered by a page counter. To reset it, hold the GO button with the drum door opened until the light goes out (10 seconds). Close the door and it should be reset.

Yeah, I have the HL-5250DN printer. The light

Hi there -

The reason the drum light keeps flashing is that you have to "reset" the machine after you've installed a new drum. To do this, I believe all you have to do is make sure the printer is on and then push and hold down the "GO" button a few seconds and then the flashing will stop. This will "reset" the printer to recognize you've installed a new drum. I'm going from memory on that, but I believe that's correct. It's a really simple solution. Good luck!
