I know TV model # but not remote model #

I have an Emerson TV Model # EWT19S2 and I don't have a remote for it, I am trying to get a Philips SRU2103S/27 universal remote to work but cannot get it to work any suggestions Tks? This trouble maybe power supply or inverter boards is defective.

If the TV is a Panasonic, I'm sure the Phillips remote wont work unless it is a "universal" remote. You will need to code it in to work on your TV if its a universal one. See if it has an auto scan button on the remote.

Look up the model of the TV online. It will give you a code to input

If it worked prior to moving and not when delilvered, I would take the back off and look for either physical damage or a loose plug.
