This phone is absolutely rubbish. You cannot turn off the deafening sound when you turn it on and off and it is not at all easy to use. The complete opposite of what it is promoted to be. I bought a Doro phone for my Dad - more expensive but really easy to use and very clear.

I have worked out how to do it now. Take the following steps:

Press Menu, then scroll down to Settings using the bottom bar on the SOS button, then User profiles, then General, then Customize then Tone Settings then Power ON then press Silent. Then do the same for Power off. If you have any problems ring the distributors at Winning Deals and they will talk you through it and any other queries. I think this phone is rubbish though especially as it's targeted as being so user friendly. The phone number is 0844 967 1145. disabled people.

You have a bad potentiometer which is a variable resistor. Might be the switch you are turning.

Sound balance is off

That TV has a lot of audio adjustments on it. Try changing the equalizer settings in the mid range. You may also want to see what it does when you hook something else to it and check the sound. If all else fails you can try the digital audio connection to see if that is clear. Otherwise you may to replace the audio board.

My OnStar navigation no longer gives voice prompts for turns and such. Was working fine, radio mutes down but then no voice prompts play. Just started in middle of a drive. How do I get the audio voice...

I was told by on star that if you leave the drivers door open for 90 seconds and then lock all of the doors and wait until the next day the system will reset itself. I know this sounds like smoke and mirrors but it does work. Please let me know. Hope this helps.
