You can manually reset it by holding A,B,X,Y and L & R Shoulder buttons while starting the browser and a popup will appear asking you to confirm your desire to restore all settings back to their defaults.

Often a quick solution to this problem is to simply restore the device to factory settings, however this would mean losing any data stored on the device.
connect to the router using ethernet cable then open web browser and in the address bar type 192.168.1.1 then for user and password enter admin and you should be able to navigate to password settings.
Your wireless router is prompting you for a password in order to log onto your network. If you do not remember your password, you can reset the routers' configuration by holding down the reset button on the back of the router, and you can then use the default user name and password to change the settings. HOWEVER, you will lose all of your network settings so if you have multiple devices connected via wireless,they will also have to be reset.
