I have a Hitachi split ac (model: ACE follow me). Last night it was working fine. But suddenly it has got malfunctioned it seems. The power LED (orange) keeps on blinking and the Filter LED (Red) was on. I assumed that the filter has to be cleaned. I have switched on the AC after cleaning the filter. But the power LED keeps on flashing and it is not responding to the remote control. I have tried to switch On the AC using temporary switch. But the AC is not responding... its too hot here... :-( Suffering a lot.... Tech experts please help
Pull disconnect outside for 10 seconds and reset. See if you get cooling then.

The outside unit has a problem. Have it tested.

Its very simple to remove that red light glowing on the AC, just switch-off your AC with your remote, but don't turn off the switch that resides with in the plug, remove filters wash gently and dry under shade and place them again in the AC, now keep it without turning-off the switch for 30-60minutes this is called stand by mode. Now take the remote open the panel and press the button that is situated in 4th row and 3rd column. By doing this the red light will be turned off and enjoy your AC.
