1. Defective controller or its power supply.
2. Broken display panel.
3. Oven needs to be reset (pull plug for a minute or two to reset).
God bless you

SOURCE: jenn-air microwave JMC 7000 ADB has no power

I have a different Jenn-Air built in microwave & oven combination but I'm sure my solution will work for you as well.

My microwave was plugged into an outlet located on the top of the oven. This outlet has a "circuit breaker" that tripped while we were using the self cleaning feature on the oven. You just need to reset the breaker button right next to the wall oven outlet. Why it tripped is a mystery since the microwave was not in use at the time. Bad design.

Of course, getting to the reset button is your only challenge. You need to pull the microwave and oven out of the wall/cabinetry in order to get to it. The unit is heavy so you will need help. Or, call a certified repairman and they should be able to do this for you in 30 minutes or less so the service call should not run you more than @$85 if it is no longer under warranty.

I would also suggest you contact Jenn-Air to complain about this issue and seek reimbursement from them if necessary.

SOURCE: No power on Jenn-Air JMC 7000 ADB Microwave

It's either the fuse or the thermostat on the magnetron.

You can download the service manual here.

SOURCE: Jenn Air Microwave Error Code

Hello Hec1152,
I have found the manufacturer contact information for you, but could not find information about the error code. If everything works fine, but the microwave is not heating your food, then the problem is most likely the magnatron or one of it's components, which sadly to say is the most expensive part to replace. Please feel free to contact the manufacturer via phone or live chat to get more details as to what the error code means.

If you would not mind, could you please rate my help. I would greatly appreciate it.

SOURCE: jenn-air microwave dead

I'm afraid since Jenn Air has become a division of Whirlpool (along with numerous others) the quality has suffered.
I was going to suggest that you purchase a service manual for your unit so you could 'reset' it yourself. Service manuals can cost from $12-$40 US and in many cases obviate the need for 'professional' service calls. However, I couldn't find one offered for your model number so your only choices are to continue to pay for 'service' or examine the guts visually to see if you can locate any reset feature. This is what I would do.
When microwaves fail, older ones generally need a diode, a big capacitor or the magnetron replaced. Newer units are suffering power supply failures as many have moved from the reliable but less efficient 'linear' power supplies to 'switched mode' types that are more efficient but more complex and prone to failure. These later types usually have the word 'inverter' in the model description.

I cannot get the GE microwave clock to set! Help?

To set the clock on most GE microwaves:
1 With the microwave door closed, press CLOCK.
2 Touch number pads that reflect the time of day (1:45 would be 1, 4, 5).
3 On some newer models, indicate AM or PM for morning or evening.
4 Press CLOCK or START to lock in the time.
If you prefer not to display the time:
Disconnect the power for 30 seconds. After restoring power, do not set the clock. If your model has an ON/OFF clock display, you can choose not to have the time displayed. To choose this option, press the 0 pad for about three seconds. To Turn the display back on, press the 0 again.

Jennair Microwave Shuts Off after 3 seconds

This is usually a defective or loose bottom door switch or that switch's mount is loose, misaligned or broken.
It's usually caused by opening the door while it's cooking instead of hitting "stop" first) or slamming the door or both.

How do I set Clock?

Disconnect the microwave from the power source while the power is still out. If the microwave is a built-in, turn off the circuit breaker. Otherwise, unplug the microwave from the wall outlet. This prevents a power surge from damaging the magnetron tube when the power is restored.Turn on the circuit breaker or plug the microwave into the outlet only when you are sure that the power is permanently restored. If there are still storms in the area, the power may be disrupted again. Reset the clock on the microwave. Microwaves vary slightly on how to set the clock, but usually there is a clock button you press. Use the number pad to input the correct time and press the clock button again to set it. Test the microwave by heating some water to ensure that it is still in good operating condition.

Audible sound has faded almost to nothing. I checked for adjustments in the manual and there were none for this problem. What would be the problem?

The first thing I would suggest is a hard reset. Unplug the unit for a minute or so. Then plug it back in, set the clock and try again.

If that doesn't work, leave it unplugged for about 5 minutes.

If you still have toruble, feel free to contact me directly (and please remind me of your full model number) for more information & help or see our Web site.
