Goodman gmp series

I think it is freezing up. It quit working, I turned it off for one day, then turned it back on and it worked for about 8 hours and stopped again. Where would it freeze up at? I looked in the return but didn't see anything. Our house is big so I was wondering where else to look.

SOURCE: fan will not turn on

you can check amp draw on the motor if it is high the motor could be going off on the over load, also check the uF with a multi meter. also when the motor stops feel the motor and see if it is really hot. if it is hot it is a sign that it is going.

SOURCE: 2.5 ton Goodman Condenser freezes

What you're experiencing is usually a result of a refrigerant leak in the coils or the insulation is missing on the outside copper tubing going into the house. If it's a leak, that's not a DIY project. If it's the foam insulation missing or severely worn, you can replace that yourself.

SOURCE: have a goodman Airconditioner model #

The system has a refrigerant leak. The leak needs to be found and repaired and the system recharged. Not a do it yourself project.
Hope this helps.

We need to change the heat exchanger for my Goodman Heat Furnace model no.-GMP 075-3

Not an easy task! Take many pictures as well as draw out and mark which wire went where. You will have to remove everything from inside the cabinet to get to the heat exchanger. It may be easier to replace the furnace. If you are paying a professional to do the exchange, figure three hours if they have done it before, if not figure 5 to 6.

Kenmore fridge stopped cooling

sounds like its freezing up on you. check the drain outlet and make sure that its clear. also i would replace the defrost timer on this unit because its suppose to bring on the heaterfs to melyt the ice so thaat yoiu don't have to. they are around 30 mdollars at the appliancew repair store and all you need is the model number and serial number for the uit. after you get it it's either on the very top of the refrigerator section or in the very back. It has 4 wires going to it. good luck.
