No sound and voice recording device;not able to get the right sound driver

  • NO SOUND,NO AUDIO
  • check the system - device manager for sound and audio adapter, checks for any markings on the device red x, yellow ? , or ! checks for any sound blaster if not detected (removed it and install back)
  • uninstall and re-install the sound and audio device driver, or
  • install the sound drivers
  • use a headset or external speaker if it works the internal speaker needs replacement

Unable to play back audio, No Sound device is detect on my system

make sure that the sound card is enabled on your BIOS. if it is, then make sure the drivers are properly installed for the sound card. you can get them online or from the motherboard or oem cd that came with the computer. if it still does not work, then the card might be broken.

I am unable to get speakers working.

Hi,

There is small logic to resolve or to narrow down the Audio issue.

Let me explain.

First, try to play any audio file and observe if is giving any error message or it seems to playing without sound.

If it gives any error message like "No Audio/Media device installed or found", then the audio driver is not installed in the computer or the Windows Audio serviceis stopped.

If it seems to be playing without sound, then somewhere it might be muted or Sound level might be lowered.

If you are sure that all settings are okay and not Muted, then you have to check with another speakers or headphones.

If another speakers works, then the issue is with the ols speakers.

Please get back to me if you need more information on this issue.
