Factory Reset for Archos 97 Carbon

I have forgotten the password for my Archos 97 Carbon tablet. I have tried inputting lots of different passwords that i use but i cannot remember the correct one. I would like to reset the tablet to its factory settings. I dont mind losing any data I have on it, I just want to know how to do this. Thanks

I have forgotten the password for my 97 Archos carbon tablet.
I would therefore like you to sent me the Information as to how I can reset it back to the factory settings please.
I also have no data on it, I just want my Archos 97 back.

If you had forgotten your Pattern lock of your Tablet, you can reset it of your own.
You can recover it through your Gmail account, enter the pattern for 15-20 times. After it you will be asked to enter your Gmail password.

- Turn off the device and wait 10 seconds.
- Press and hold the volume + button while powering on the device.
- Keep the volume + pressed until the Recovery mode starts (white screen).
- To move from one option to another, use the volume buttons. To select an option, press the ON/OFF button.

If you forgot your password the only way to get in is to do a factory reset which unfortunately will erase all your data and settings. The factory reset sequence depends on your particular device. in some android devices you have to hold the volume button while you press the power on button, it may be different on yours. Check your user manual.

Archos 97 carbon tablet has frozen, cannot turn off or nothing have tried holding power key but still unresponsive

it is dead easy. just get a paperclip and open one side of it, now look on the side of the 97 there is small hole between the USB port and the flash sd card, insert the paperclip end an hold until the system resets itself.
All will come back to life after pressing the power button..
No data wil be lost, I have done it lots of times.
