This happened with MS Windows some times if you don't want to say..it's often :)

Okay, this what you should do:

Download the missing file from here: http://www.dlldump.com/cgi-bin/testwrap/downloadcounts.cgi?rt=count&path=dllfiles/M/MLANG.DLL

Then, follow the instruction below:
How to install/uninstall MLANG.DLL? 1. Unarchive the package and use the files from Release folder if you're running windows 9x/Me or Release Unicode if you are running windows 2000/XP
2. Copy DLL files in system32 folder [C:\WINDOWS\system32]
3. Click on Start > Run

  • To install the dll files, type: regsvr32 MLANG.DLL
  • To uninstall the dll files, type: regsvr32 -u MLANG.DLL
  • MLANG DLL. IS MISSING - run.gif 4. In the end, you should receive a message saying that your file was successfully installed/uninstalled

    tip

Add Remove Programs list is blank -- Windows 2000

Usually It happens due to some virus activity or any corruption in system files. So when you go to Add Remove Programmes, It shows nothing but a blank space.

    · To resolve this issue with Internet Explorer 6.0 installed, repair Internet Explorer 6.0:
Click Start, and then click Run.
Paste the following command in the Open box, and then click OK:
    rundll32 setupwbv.dll,IE6Maintenance "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\Setup\SETUP.EXE" /g "C:\WINDOWS\IE Uninstall Log.Txt"
Because this command is case sensitive, you should copy the command, and then paste the command in the Open box.
    · To resolve this issue with Internet Explorer 5.0 or 5.5 installed, repair Internet Explorer 5.0 or 5.5:
Click Start, and then click Run.
Paste the following command in the Open box, and then click OK:
    rundll32 setupwbv.dll,IE5Maintenance "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\Setup\SETUP.EXE" /g "C:\WINDOWS\IE Uninstall Log.Txt"
Because this command is case sensitive, you should copy the command, and then paste the command in the Open box.

If the Add/Remove Programs tool still does not function properly, shows no content, or if you want to try to fix this issue without upgrading to later versions of Internet Explorer, check the following registry keys to make sure that they contain entries:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Management\ARPCache
Note If the previous registry keys are blank, the Add/Remove Programs tool may also be blank.

Use the command line REGSVR32 [path\filename] to register each of the following files:

    %systemroot%\System32\Appwiz.cpl
    %systemroot%\System32\Mshtml.dll
    %systemroot%\System32\Jscript.dll

    %systemroot%\System32\Mshtmled.dll
    %systemroot%\System32\Mswstr10.dll [not registerable]

If a DLL is missing the best solution would be to find your OS cd and run a repair. This should install any missing DLL. Does it say which DLL is missing?

    Missing dll file

Hi shecter2003, if you can get inside of windows, try doing this:

    1. Click Start > run > cmd
    2. A black box should show, type there sfc /scannow then press Enter

That should fix and scan all of your system files & it should fix most dll file errors. Check this out for reference.

    Hope this helps.
