Hi, usually this red light is a "new message" indicator when it's on, the normal condition should be off. If the caller ID function is not working could be cables misconnected, the connector labeled as line should be connected to wall line outlet, the connector labeled as phone should be connected to your telephone. In the worst of cases if the connections are OK, there's a problem with the line or the caller ID unit.

SOURCE: display interrupted

Just fixed mine tonight. Follow instructions on http://www.linux-hacker.net/InfoGlobe/ for globe removal. I used a .020" feeler guage. The solder joints on the small circuit board at the end of the arm are subject to vibration from operation and about a bazillion revolutions before failing. You'll need a good quality soldering iron with a fine tip, some solder wick, a bit of patience and a bright light and some reading glasses will not hurt. I removed the solder and then the small board. I'm using an 800 degree tip, so with something like that you want to get on/off the pads as fast as reasonably possible so you don't cook it. Then I re-tinned the traces and re-soldered the small board onto the end of the arm. At first it didn't want to light up, but on depressing the "Select" button, all was good. Happy to have ol' blue back up and running again :~)

SOURCE: how to change time on Olympia Infoglobe caller id

I have the manual and can tell you what it says:
(this worked for me last year when we went off daylight savings, but for some reason, It doesnt seem to work anymore. I can't imagine that I did anything different then. You can try, though.)
Enter (or leave) the Demonstration Mode by pressing the right key for at least 1 second.
Then, by pressing SELECT key, you are SUPPOSED to be able to scan a menu which lets you pick date format, time format, etc.

This no longer works for me, and the instructions also have a contradictory comment that says the SELECT key is disabled in this mode. But perhaps this will work for you.

I would also appreciate instructions if anyone knows what I am doing wrong.

You are possibly in the demonstrate mode. If that is the case, press and hold the right key for a few seconds.

SOURCE: My globe will no longer

Hi,

Your unit has some settings problem. You have to reset the unit.Try resetting the unit.If still the problem persist you have to reset the infoGlobe.txt file using PC interface cable.Which they will do in service centre only.

Are both lights supposed to be green i have 1 red 1 green on my battery for my invacare scooter

Mine is an Invacare M51 Pronto Surestep with an onboard Winsunny battery charger. My charging lights are solid red and green/ yellow. Depending on if it is charging or not. What kind of charger do you have?
I have to replace my charger because it is not working. My green light is staying green while charging even though my joystick is showing my batteries are depleting and I just got new batteries. sigh.

Garrison heater red light on but no heat

I just fixed mine with the same problem. I first called Garrison and they wanted to send a tech out to fix my $60 heater that was just of warranty..I said no of course. Any how I have a electronic background so troubleshot myself and found a thermo fuse that was bad. It was located inside the heater and not easy to get to but that was the problem. I am guessing that the fuse goes because of blockage at the top of the heater. Any how it's fixed.

Blank autostar screen, light but no message, bought new one same thing, buttons still do what they are suppose to,running blind help!

You do have batteries inside? I suppose. If you do the power panel light should be on (red)--- if it is the scope is powered up BUT THE CORD going to the hand controller is broken. Buy a new hand controller cord.

If the power light is NOT on then a circuit board is probably defective inside the scope base. Meade can repair this but you must send them the telescope.

Ps3 blinking red light

I have read the red light means overheating. My dvd laser went out, mine is past warrenty so I took it apart. I was amazed at all the dust on the inside! You might take yours apart and blow out all the dust if you havent already and see if that helps. I also use a cooler fan on mine to help blow out the heat
