This has to do with the security settings. Try adding the sites as trusted sites. You can also try lowering the security. It may be that the previous owner set the setting to high. Both setting are found under Tools\Internet Options\Security. You can also compare the settings from a machine that does not give the messages to the one that does and adjust them to get rid of the problem.

Good luck, and please let me know how it works out for you. ~ Spoem

I hav latitude d600 laptop i hav a problem.computer sys.CG2RD1S-595B.is protected by authentication password to use data in my lap.so pls tell me the password.

Jan B,

Dell does not put in passwords on computer. Someone added the password once it was setup. There are programs on the internet that you can download that will help you recover the password. If not, you will need to format and reinstall Windows.

Thank You,

Showing invalid certificate

I tried everything suggested above and on other sites, which included updating time and date, cleaning history, cleaning registry, re-installing Chrome, downloading new certificates from Microsoft. Nothing worked. I went to my Antivirus Program (Bit Defender). Under "Privacy" find the switch for "Scan SSL" Turn switch off. Now Chrome works great!

Cant open yahoo mail

This pop ups or notices usually indicates that the SSL or Secure Socket Layer certificate is expired, thus warns you to input such confidential data. But If its a trusted site, you can go on pressing continue or add exception to the site.

Software for Dell Latitude d600

For the Dell Latitude D600, you can visit Dell's Support website using this link: http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/index.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen. On the site, you can get all the downloads pertaining to your laptop, based on model [D600], or by your unit's Asset Tag, which is a white sticker usually located on the bottom of your laptop.

There are several categories listed for downloads, such as audio, video, networking, etc. Just choose the items you need, or you can download them all, and save to a CDR for future use.

Hope this helps; Good Day to all!
