I recently moved. Since then, having problems with my treadmill. When the key is inserted, all lights go on and the incline works fine, but when you press start to start walking, the belt does not move. The readout looks like you are walking at whatever speed it is set to (1mph, 2mph, etc), but the belt doesn't move at all. Could something have been broken in the move? Thanks.
Check the drive belt. It may be loose or broken. If the belt is loose, then to tighten the drive belt, start by removing the front cover. loosen the bolts around the motor then tighten the drive belt by tightening the motor adjuster bolt. Once the drive belt is tight, tighten the motor back down.
Same problem - Solution - (UNPLUG FROM WALL) - Removed the front cover, discovered the bracket that held the upper electrical brush into the drive motor had popped off and the brush/spring assembly had left the channel. Found the bracket under the motor, pressed the brush spring back into the channel and snapped the cover back in place. Just to be sure it doesn't happen again and because the bracket was loose, I secured it with a short piece of heavy tape. Treadmill works good as new.

Where/what is the electrical brush? It isn't described on the exploded Drawing in the manuel.
Ithe Brush housing is missing from my motor. Does anyone know if this bracket can be ordered without having to order the whole motor?

Ditto that from jmcq2...we had the treadmill for about 8 years now and although it's used in the Colorado winter months, it is idle all Summer. When our daughter went to run the other day, nothing! All the controls worked, platform raised and lowered, but the motor didn't engage. After unplugging from the wall and taking the front housing cover off I noticed the top wire/spring/brush hanging from the top of the motor. When I checked the bottom side, it too was loose, so I loosened the two motor bolts, secured both top and bottom brush covers with a few wraps of electrical tape and it's now good as new. Total time was about 30 minutes to diagnose and repair.
Same problem exactly! After a move, everything on the treadmill was working except the main motor. I spent a couple of hours trying to figure out what to do until I found this post. Saw the loose spring sticking out of the motor, found the brush cover lying on the bottom. Reinserted brush, covered, taped. It works. Thank you!!

Treadmill usually show you such issues that really frustrate you.
My Treadmill belt was also having issues with the belt. But when I researched on the internet what might be the reasons for this I found out some problems that my machine belt might be facing and soon I fixed the belt. It is all set, running fine now.
There might be following reasons.
1) Inappropriate tension in the belt can cause your belt to abormalize its movement. The belt might be too tight or too loose.
2) Inappropriate Lubrication of belt does not let the belt move. Since, belt don't have friction so it stucks with the motor and doesn't rotate.
If you want to check out other problems that might be in your treadmill belt and their solutions you can seek help from https://fitnessgearshub.com/proform-and-nordictrack-treadmill-belt-not-moving/.
I also referred to this page when I first encountered problem with my machine and fortunately with this article's help, I found the culprit.
Same problem with my NordicTrack Elite 9500 Pro
Fixed! thanks for your posting, it's great help!
I had the same problem.
First - UNPLUG TREADMILL FROM THE WALL - I removed the front cover and found the upper brush had sprung out of the drive motor. I found the brush cover under the drive motor. I pressed the brush/spring assembly back into the channel and snapped the cover back in place. The assembly was a bit loose, I secured it with a short piece of electrical tape to prevent it from coming apart again. Works good as new.
