Wont start i just bought this boat used yesterday, the guy hooked up the mickey mouse ears and ran water to the motor it fired off in two trys. I picked it up today and took it to the lake and low and behold i turned the key to on pushed it in to prime cranked it and let off primed the throttle one quarter forward then back to neutral, turned the key held in for the prime and cranked again?????i even went as far as to pump the bulb just off the engine and it just cranked and cranked ???/

My 2000 90 hp yamaha will not start. I checked the fuel sytem from start to finish. Everything checks out. I installed a new fuel pump last year. Fuel filter fills properly when primer bulb is squeezed. I have spark from the spark plugs.I performed religious preventive maintenance on the motor every year. Serviced lower unit, fogged the motor for winter storage and changed the plugs every year. I'm assuming that if i get a spark that the coils are ok, right? My 2000 90 hp yamaha will not start.
