I was just told by Scott's phone customer service (800-543-8873) that their TurfBuilder EdgeGuard mini can use the same settings as their "SpeedyGreen" broadcast spreader, if your fertilizer lists that one.
It sounds to me like your grass is wet when you're applying, which is what the label calls for if you're trying to kill weeds. But is this wet grass maybe TOO TALL when you're pushing the spreader through it?
Next time, try mowing the lawn, then waiting 1-2 days before applying Turfbuilder Plus 2.
If anything were to work as anti-stick agent on the wheels, it would be Pam spray from your kitchen cupboard. Spray, let sit a while, then buff dry.

I don't know how accurate they are, but they are consistent with one
another so I'm using them :)
If the unit will not broadcast when pushed, try drilling a small hole through the inside of the wheel where the axle enters the wheel and insert a small cotter pin. This worked on mine.
