Peavey bandit 112 reverb

All things connected works great other wise but reverb does not function any ideas

Reverb died on my peavey as well, diagnosed the problem today, ordered the part, the IC DG211CJ or NJU211D, it controls the voltage going to the reverb tank.. well atleast this was my problem. cost to fix was roughly $5

It might just be the control knob. My fender's reverb went out and it was just the knob.

Also check the reverb tank. I have one where the reverb springs actually broke, also check the connectors at the reverb tank and the amp chassis.

have you tried using a foot pedal? Are you sure it is switching (green light turns red, etc?). On the lead channel are you turning up the gain all the way and the volume down?

I NEED TO REPALCE THE TRANSFORMER FRO MY BANDIT 112.
It is unlikely the transformer is bad, Some of these have a thermal fuse in the windings. Usually failed components overload the power supply and blow the main fuse.

Distortion on the lead channel is not working
The intergrated circuit is most likely gone out. Not much you can do, cost in repair is more than the amp. Check out the peavey vypyr, it's a great modeling amp for about $100.

This has several vacuum tubes and those are suspect. Take a pencil and tap the glass of the smaller tubes to look for noise changes. You may have to take off the tube metal shield to do this.
If you have got 15 years of life from the tubes that is great. Also suspect are electrolytic filter caps.
If you are not electronically adept, take it in for repair.
