Lexar SDHC Card from Kodak Easy Share, disk not recoginized

I have a Lexar SDHC memory card from a Kodak Easy Share camera, it caused the camera to lock up after several pictures, so we removed the disk and put in a new disk and the camera worked. My question is, I am trying to retrieve the pictures on this SDHC memory card and it is showing up as ''please insert disk'' after I have placed the disk in the reader slot tied to my computer. Please let me know my options, these pics were taken during a trip to Hawaii and I can't afford to go back right now. I could not find a good description for the meory card below, it is a Lexar SDHC 4GB, Platinum II 60x memory card.

Honestly, it is most likely a defective memory card or not compatible with your camera. Sorry.

WHAT DO I DO WHEN THE MEMORY CARD SAYS FULL I HAVE A Z885 KODAK EASY SHARE

What type and size memory card? The Z885 works with MMC and SD cards. It won't work with higher-capacity SDHC cards.

I have a Kodak Z990 easy share camera and memory card is protected came up and said reset switch on memory card. How do I reset memory card

SD and SDHC cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

SanDisk SDHC card will not format in Kodak Easy share camera and this is the error that reads out.

Some older Kodak Easy Share cameras cannot use the SDHC cards. HC stands for, "High Capacity." This means that the capacity of the card is too big for the camera to deal with. Check your user manual to see what cards are compatible with the camera. You may have to stick with plain SD cards from now on.
If the camera does support SDHC cards, you can try formatting the card on your computer first and then inserting the card into the camera. If the card still does not work, the card may be faulty and you should try to get it exchanged or refunded and pick out a new one.
To format an SD card on your computer:
1. Insert the card into a card reader (like this one: http://www.amazon.com/Mini-Memory-Card-Reader-Writer/dp/B000FNDWLQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1299296903&sr=8-1 2. Go to "My Computer," and right click on the card. 3. Select format.
On a Mac:
1. Follow step one above. 2. Go to Applications > Disk Utility 3. Select the card from the list on the left and click "Erase" at the top of the right-hand side 4. Click erase at the bottom left corner

Bought a new Lexar 8GB memory card and having trouble formatting it for the Kodak Easy Share V530

The V530 works with SD cards. Your new 8GB card is an SDHC card. While SDHC cards will fit into the slot, they are electronically incompatible and will not work. You need to go with SD cards, 2GB and smaller.

Just purchased new Toshiba SDHC 8 GB memory card to use in Kodak Easy Share C743 digital camera. Put disk in camera prompt says "Memory Card requires formatting"...press continue, and go to formatting and...

No. Can you get into the camera menu when you turn the camera on? If so, go to "format" by way of the menu rather than clicking on continue. Also, be sure the slide switch on the side of the card is in the unlocked position.

How do i format a kodak memory card 4 gb sdhc for my kodak easy share z612

Unfortunately. you don't. The Z612 works with SD cards, not SDHC cards. You're limited to cards 2GB and smaller.
