Hi, I bought an off-road upgrade for my Navman MY300LMT on April 8th, and since then each time I switch the Navman on, it tells me that some maps have "failed to load correctly", and I find that it does not recognise some locations off any main roads. I do have my product key number, but I do not know how to re-load the maps.

Not for that model. You can for others, you buy the UK map. I recommend the Garmin Drive 50 for the UK. I bought one for a friend in the UK and bought one for me here in Canada.
install the nav desk software to you p.c and connect the navman to the pc via the usb cable.
You will be prompted that a map upgrade is available through the NavDesk software. Once the unit has synchronized with the NavDesk software you will be informed that a later map is available. Once you select the map data, it will begin to download to your computer.

Would need to select Africa Zone
Found another web site but did not know if it is safe to use that has Morocco in Africa Zone.
unfortunately, per C-Net's review page at "http://www.cnet.com.au/navman-f20-339272352.htm#comments" there may not be any software available as that these units are now "obsolete". but there does not seem to be any "free" software at all.
hold it! just found the software page from the company at "http://www.navmansupport.com.au/All%20Navman%20FAQs/Software/F%20Series.htm" for this unit. could not find a "direct" link to the download, but you may have better luck.
it would seem that there are drivers in windows for this ( according to what I saw on the site)
on some further searching, it seems that there is a sd card in the side that may be loose, check that out, too!
I've got MY65T working on an iPhone 3GS. I previously had the problem where it would pair and retrieve phone book, but not transmit or receive voice from my iPhone when making a call.
The last thing I did that fixed it was to remove the bluetooth pairings and "reinstall software on your navman". I don't know if this may remove some of your settings / POI / etc. This was a new purchase so I didn't have anything to lose.
Before doing this I had upgraded the navdesk software to 7.30, and installed the latest firmware for MY65T. Firmware is located at http://www.navmansupport.com.au/Software/My%20Series/MY65T/MY250___352.htm
Details: -remove the phone bluetooth pairing from the Navman from Settings / Bluetooth / My Paired Devices / [your phone] / delete -remove the bluetooth pairing from your phone's settings -connect navman to PC and launch navdesk -click "My Navman" / "Reinstall software on your Navman" -download the install file if prompted -accept the reinstallation prompts and complete reinstallation -set your phone to discoverable over bluetooth (just keep it on the Bluetooth settings screen on iPhone) -go to Settings / Bluetooth /" Search new devices" on your Navman -click your phone's name on the navman's discovered devices -enter the PIN onto your phone when prompted and accept the pairing. This takes a little while. -test handsfree!
If you need to update your maps, check this site for downloading instructions and downloadable ISO files for installing the more current maps. They may or may not be free, depending on your previous map purchases. They also sell the upgrade software, but its a little pricey. They are located in Australia.
