When you ask for help, give make and model number. In this case, if display is a CRT type (cathode ray tube, not LCD), then a horizontal single line in the center of the screen indicates a lack of vertical deflection. If it is a vertical line in the center of the screen, it is a lack of horizontal deflection. Both problems can be caused by any number of components, all internal, and requires a technican to repair. Bring up the menu and if the lines are not on the menu replace the small signal board that is your video prossor. If the lines are still the replace the Y main board that contrl the top half of the screen.
I have the same problem on my unit and was told the same after I stayed on hold 38 minutes for tech support at lowrance. This is the second Lowrance that they would not fix and only offer a "discount" on a replacement. This company can KISS my behind. What a scam!!!
