Step 4: Choose an installation option, Upgrade (removes Office 2003) or Customize (keeps Office 2003 installed and adds Office 2007, allowing you to use them both).

Note: Outlook 2003 will be uninstalled in either option. Outlook will be updated and your user settings and mail will migrate to the new version.

If you click Upgrade, go on to Step 5.

If you click Customize, go on to Step 4a.

I have problem setting up my wireless network and redirecting my wireless client to my local webpages before they can access to internet.   see this diagram below :...

you need to replace your modem with a router that is capable of running Network Address Translation. You are trying to route private IP's (192,168.x.x) over the public IP (internet) network.

Won't install without error message

Excerpt from: http://blogs.msdn.com/ie/archive/2009/01/26/upgrading-to-internet-explorer-8-release-candidate-1.aspx

There is 1 update required when running IE8 RC1 on multi-core XPSP2 x86 computers:
KB932823 or KB946501.
This update resolves a problem in which an access violation occurs when an application exists on a Windows XP SP2-based multi-core computer. It will be installed automatically if you select “Install the latest updates” option in Setup Wizard. If this update fails to install successfully, IE8 installation will be blocked until you manually install this update from Microsoft Download Center.
So see if you can do a manual install of this update. There are a number of other suggestions in the above link that might also help.

Good Luck!

A good way to avoid problems with net access is to put the same OS on all machines, setting all accesses identically.

Cannot sign in to MSN explorer

if you have formatted your hard drive...... that removes everything off your compuers hard drive. I assume if this is the case, you had to reinstall windows xp. if so, you need to use the connection wizard in your start screen in xp....it will guide you through the internet conection precess. if you have the setup cd from your internet cable provider, you should be able to use it to resore your service in your computer. XP comes with a version of internet explorer. you should be able to update it once you have restored internet access on your computer....hope this addresses your situation

Somebody installed windows live on my computer i now have msn as my desk top i want to go back to google classic

Hi. I am assuming you are talking about the page that Internet Explorer goes to when you first open it. If that is the case, try this:

Windows Vista (all versions)

1. Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button getopencontent.aspx?assetid=4f6cbd09-148c-4dd8-b1f2-48f232a2fd33&documentset=en-us&renderkey=xml, and then clicking Internet Explorer.
2. Navigate to the webpage you would like to set as the home page.
3. Click the arrow to the right of the Home button getopencontent.aspx?assetid=4aa01e82-2732-4ac7-b246-a06c904f2c2c&documentset=en-us&renderkey=xml, and then click Add or Change home page.
In the Add or Change Home Page dialog box, do one of the following:
• To make the current webpage your only home page, click Use this webpage as your only home page.
• 4. To start a home page tab set or to add the current webpage to your set of home page tabs, click Add this webpage to your home page tabs.
• To replace your existing home page or home page tab set with the webpages you currently have open, click Use the current tab set as your home page. This option will only be available if you have more than one tab open in Internet Explorer.
5. Click Yes to save your changes.

Windows XP (all versions)

1. Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button, and then clicking Programs or All Programs, and clicking Internet Explorer.
2. Navigate to the webpage you would like to set as the home page.
3. On the pull-down menus at the top of the window, click the Tools menu and choose Internet Options (if the Tools is not showing at the top of the page, you can access it using the Tools pull-down menu located on the right side of the window).
4. To make the current webpage your home page, click the “Use Current” button.
5. Click OK to save your changes.

Hope this helps!
