My phone won't charge. What should I do?

My phone was working perfectly fine until one morning I woke up and my phone was completely dead. It would barely charge and, if it did, it charged very slowly. I had to adjust the charger in the charging port every few minutes because it would stop charging as well. Most days it doesn't get past the 40% mark. Also, the percentage even decreases while I'm charging and I'm not even using the phone. My update is next month so I don't want to pay for a new phone when I'll just be getting a new one directly afterwards but I can't go an entire month with these issues. Is there anything I can do?

This is a hardware issue, bad charging port. Give a repair centre and have the charging port changed.

Unknown? now power to phone when plugged in. Didnt drop. No water damage, still like brand new. purchased 2 months ago.

I had a similar issue and it was a problem with the charging port. I suggest taking your device to your supplier and use warranty to fix.

Is there a way I can charge my iphone when my home button and charger won't work?

Try taking it in to an apple store. Given the age of the phone, there may not be anything they can do to assist. Unfortunately, unless you try your luck with a third-party phone repair company, you will need to find a new phone.

What do I do to turn my phone on when it was charging all night and I woke up this morning and it wills not turn on but when its on the charge it come s on? What can I do to fix it?

If the cell phone battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out.Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles andwill lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% andgradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR Thebattery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the batterydrops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to anunacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced.

Chances are your phone got too hot during the night and overcharged the Lithium Ion battery. If those batteries are exposed to too much heat then they won't have the battery life they used to have. You need to purchase a replacement battery or contact your wireless carrier to see about getting another one.

It won't turn on at all. It won't even charge. It's only 4 months old. Wasn't dropped or exposed to water or elements. Was working fine yesterday morning, then about 4:30, it was dead. ...

How long did you let it charge, when the device is completely drained of power it may not turn on at first when you connect it. Let it charge for a little while and come back to see if it fixes it. Failing that, your probably going to have to contact apple for warranty help.
