Maytag MZD2766GES side-by-side Refrigerator warm

I have a Maytag MZD2766GES side-by-side Refrigerator that is 5 years old. All of a sudden, the Fridge is not cooling. Freeze side is very cold. I have checked the Fan above the coils in the freezer and it runs when plugged in. The fan behind the fridge close to the compressor also works. Compressor is also hot. What can be wrong?

    evapaporator fan is ok, there is no air blockage in the air duct, but i don't do not feel enough air coming out in the refrigerator side that is why it is too warm.Check the lights if it's stays on but it wasn't.I wonder if the fan is not pushing enough air. Is the evap fan is multi speed?

is it frozen up? do you have any air flow thru the air tunnel from the freeze to the fridge? Check your air flow with the door switch pushed in. also check to see if the damper door opens... 1) if it is iced up you have a defrost problem. most likely a defrost timer. Turn off or unplug untill all the ice has melted off the evaporator back of the freezer..plug back in and it will work fine untill the ice builds up again. if this work you do have a defrost problem.. if not let me know and we can go deeper...

Apparently, you will need to call a service man.
You may be low on freon.
Sometimes leaks occur and are not serviceable except by a service man.
I recommend that you find a service man in your area. There may be one at this website listed who would be close.

MAYTAG SIDE BY SIDE FRIG JUST STOPPED WORKING. NO COLD -BOTH FREEZER & FRIG ARE WARM INSIDE. FAN & LIGHTS STILL WORK. COMPRESSOR IN THE BACK IS VERY WARM.

Refrigerator not cooling but freezer is
Something has stopped the cold air being ducted from freezer side to refrigerator side of things. Possibly duct blocked due to ice build up, evaporator not self defrosting etc. Turn unit off for a few days till it melts and then turn back on. If it was because a door has been left slightly open you will be ok. If for any other reason you will want to have it serviced in the next week or so.

Mine kept doing the same thing- the flap between the freezer & the frig is getting stuck. I finally just broke mine off & left it that way. Now the frig is really cold, sometimes things partially freeze- but that is better than going rotten. I now have a section under the water/ice dispense tray bubbling/peeling the white paint off. Mine is 6.5 years old & out of warranty, so I'm searching for a way to repair this problem. Any suggestions?
