Please unplug tv from wall socket for minute or so,, replug back in and turn it On. If tv still goes to standby itself than its standby light would blink to show an error in somewhere inside tv circuits. Let me know how many times standby red light blinking? There would be 3 seconds long pause in blinking so count pause to pause to determine problem section. Thanks.
This happens when high voltage reaches 33k,it shuts down for safty. Unplug it from the wall outlet,then remove the back from tv,then check the power supply And horizontal circuits.for faults,with an ohm meter,check all solder joints for cold or bad solder connections,resolder most, check fuse,if no reading on the meter with one probe on one end and the other probe on the other useing the ohm scale,replace the fuse. Always replace it with the same amps,its writen on end of fuse......hope this helps...........
Hi, Symptom shows Lamp is not working and either lamp or its drive board is bad that will be replaced. Did you replaced lamp in tv recently? If not, replace it. Lamp replacement procedure would be written in user manual. Thanks.
I have exactly the same problem! Sometimes when I turn the input dial it comes back on but this time it is out for good. I have tried re-wiring and unplugging etc. nothing seems to work.
