SOURCE: Air Conditioner works intermittently

It could be your low pressure cycle switch is going bad. Check the connection to the switch and it's is located on the A/C Accumulator. The other thing to check is the A/C relay and that is located in the glove box. There is a panel in the glove box that say's relay, there is three relays in there and one of the out side relay's out of the three is the A/C. can not remember which one it is. The middle relay is the fuel pump and the other one is the third break light. Switch the two out side relays and see if your A/C get's better. the other thing too is if the R134a is just a little low, and needs to be topped off. Good luck and hope this helps. if your going to try to recharge the A/C system your self, keep in mind not to over charge.

SOURCE: on my 1995 chevy blazer s-10 my face vents are not blowing air

Your heater valve is stuck open, also in a pinch you can crimp off your hose to the heater coil at fire wall. Try to find the heater valve vacumb hose under the hood see if it is bad and fixit. or some models have a cable to the valve could be broken.

SOURCE: 96 Blazer A/C WILL NOT BLOW ANY AIR HOT OR COLD

BEFORE YOU DO ANY HARD WORK TURN ON YOUR A/C AND BLOWER AND TAP THE BACK OF THE BLOWER MOTOR WITH A SMALL HAMMER IN A COMPLETE CIRCLE. SOUNDS LIKE YOU JUST HAVE SOME STICKING BRUSHES IN THE BLOWER MOTOR.

The air is cold as long as you are going down the road but as soon as you stop for a few minutes it blows hot air.

Did you use a gauge to measure the pressure.
Is the cooling fan for the radiator working correctly ?

I have a 98 blazer that in the morning blows ice cold air. After driving for awhile it will stop blowing cold and if you turn it off wait and turn ot back on it sometimes blows cold again. ANy ideas

I would replace the low pressure AC compressor cycling switch, it may be sticking, it is a fairly common problem. The switch is located in the low side of the AC system hoses or accumulator.

AC compressor blows fuses when it goes to kick on.

As a mechanic I NEVER put that JUNK in ANY system, they clog up A/C compressor's and every thing elese. (You might have to replace most of the components in your vehicle now. ie condenser, evaporator, compressor, receiver/dryer (accumulator), orifice tube (thermo expansion valve) and you may be able to flush out the lines.
