Beeping washer workers, however when washer control is in normal mode the washer beeps. If i start the washer it beeps 3x and does it continuously.

Sounds like control board is defective

Good Morning John, thank you for allowing me to assist you! Here are some simple troubleshooting steps to help resolve this issue:

• First, reset the unit by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker.
  

• Wait approximately ten minutes and turn on the power for the washer.
  

• Next, turn on your washer and select a normal cycle.
  

If your washer continues to beep, it could possibly have a defective control board or a wiring failure. I would suggest contacting an experienced service technician to determine the precise cause.

Is there a sequence to the beeps?

Hit the power button until there is NO display . Unplug and wait a minimum of 30 seconds , plug back in and within 30 seconds hit SIGNAL button then DELAY START button then SIGNAL button again then DELAY START button again. door should lock and display t01 It is now in test mode . There are 14 different test it can run through in this mode , but all we are trying to do is check for error codes now and maybe get you back to normal, So turn the knob one click clockwise and hit the START/PAUSE button and see if any error codes come up. To exit the diagnostic mode - hit signal button then delay start button then signal button then delay start button and you are out of service test mode and back to normal. Post any error codes.

you need to get into service mode by pressing and holding down power button you should hear 3 beeps then console would be off then you should press and hold power button you will hear one solid beep maybe another solid beep afterwards then two fast beeps then release the power button. if you did this correctly you will see a screen telling you connect controller via usb and press the ps button to continue congrats now you are in service mode now click rebuild database and your problem should be fixed if not try replacing harddrive.

Thats because your lap top needs to be reebooted in a format to reconfigur itself unfortunatly its not doing that please! do an early system restore to when it was working and save those settings for the next time this happens ok! and save all your current files just in case you need to wipe your whole drive to origibal settings ok!

Your problem is with the pause/resume button. This button allows you to add/remove items before the cycle is complete. If you press this button and there is water in the machine it will beep for a period of time (3 mins) and then empty the machine automatically so you can open the door. After opening the door the cycle can be restarted again by pressing the pause/resume button again.

If you haven't tried pull the 120VAC cord to the washer for ten seconds or so and then re-power up this will hard reset the control board. If that doesn't help and you want to continue to troubleshoot I will have you try to get into Service Mode.

Could you confirm if your machine is a FAV6800AW or FAV9800AW. That would help me with further troubleshooting. I'm an FAV6800AW owner.
