Hi,
if it doesn't get very hot, then everything's fine. Yes, you may try unplugging and see if it works.

Of course, it's better to call the Apple Support. Ask them about the problem and see if it is normal/not.

Over powering issues

It sounds as though the IO Board is bad. Personally I would sell it on eBay for parts or Repair only. Take the money and buy another working unit. Or you can go here MacBook Air 13 Mid 2013 Heat Sink Replacement and check out this iFixit repair site . This is going to be a lengthy repair, but following the instructions you should be able to do it. I used the HeatSink repair, but you can choose any of the listed repairs for this item.

HELP! bought a BX2450 Samsung monitor and it`s not showing full resolution, i need a driver for my macbook pro 13` (mid 2010) anyone????

I have a very strong suspicion that you are connecting your Macbook Pro to the VGA input on the monitor instead of the HDMI.

Your Macbook Pro uses the Mini Displayport connection type. Are you using a Mini Displayport to HDMI adapter? If not, purchase one and that will resolve your issue.

If you are already using a Mini Displayport to HDMI adapter, make sure your resolution is set to the maximum (1920x1080 according to Samsung's website) in Apple Menu > System Preferences > Displays > Display.

If available, select the 'Best for Display' option which should automatically set the maximum resolution for the display. If not, select 'Scaled' and choose 1920x1080.

MacBook Pro took a drop, boots up but nothing on the screen.

The screen, the cable that connects to the screen or something internal has taken a hit. You'll need to get it serviced to find out which. Sorry, but there's not much diagnosis we can do from a distance.

Basically the wiring of the large harness corresponds to the pins like this.

Starting in the upper right hand corner and working down the right side from A12 down to A1.

Back up to upper left hand corner on the large plug

14=Right front tweeter output-blue
15=Left front tweet output-red
16=Left front tweeter output-blue

The small harness is the same above with the upper right position being pin 1 going down to pin 4 then back up to the top for pin 5 down to pin 8.

My new macbook white does not configure.

Can you connect hardwired?
If so, try selecting "Software Update" from under the Apple in the upper Left hand corner. There have been a number of updates that effect wireless connectivity.

Additionally try repairing permissions Application / Utilities / Disk Utility
