Where is the inlet valve on my dishwasher?

  • Anonymous Mar 12, 2014

Dishwasher powers/churns/drains but will not run cycle and within minutes of starting beeps that the dishes are clean. I have tried every reset option I can try. I have turned the electricity off at the breaker for 5 minutes and turned back on...no luck getting a dishwasher cycle to run. Dishwasher ran fine until the problem. The unit has not been moved so do not think it is a kink in the hose, etc.

I had the same problem. The motor had to be replaced. For as much as we paid for this it has not lived up to the Bosch name. It's never been as quiet as other people talk about, and then the motor went out! It's only 2 years old.

My Bosch SHX56BO6UC14 is not getting the dishes clean at all. It's making a grinding sound. It is pumping water & spraying water, but not getting anything clean. help?

Hi

If you are noticing that the dishes are not clean, then there are a few things to check for. Check the soap powder if it's kept in a dry environment. Also try replacing the powder with something like a gel or liquid. Next thing to check for is the water pressure and fill valve. Check if the water is filling in and the spray arms are throwing the water with enough pressure. Try and listen to the sound if you hear a proper spraying action sound.

If it seems as a low water pressure then check the fill valve. Now, check if dishwasher is draining the water or not. While the dishwasher is working check whether the dishwasher is draining and there is not much left out water after the cycle is complete. Try cleaning the spray arm with a soft brush. The water temperature plays a major role in cleaning of dishes. The temp should be between 125 and 150 F for dishwasher to clean the dishes. Hope this helps...

We have a Bosch dishwasher...model #shu4326UC. We have been so happy with it until recently. All of a sudden the dishes are not cleaned properly. We have to run the cycles a couple of times and are...

You likely have food or soap buildup stuck behind the trap in and around the drain workings. The only remedy it to remove the trap cover or lower arm assembly, and start poking around. The food finds its way into the tiniest of places and sits there, but it dirties up the rinse cycle. I have to clean mine out about once per year.

Bosch Dishwasher with very little water pressure or power

It all stems back to your incomming water supply. Either the sieve is dirt or the valve is blocked with sedementation. Some valves are servicable and some are not,if your valve has screws then its revicable. (low water pressure restricts movement on arms.)

Dishes do not clean same detergent and rinse no change to amount

The problem is hard water. There is a new product out called the dishwasher filtration system. It filters the water before it enters your dishwasher. It works amazing and has a money back guarantee. You will love the way your dishes look after the first load. It is also very affordable (like 70 bucks). Go to www.dishwasherfilter.com to find out more info.

Diswasher motor making noise during wash cycle

It could be the impeller on the motor. The impeller fits over the shaft of the motor and might have split/broken up. That funny noise is probably the shaft spinning inside the damage impeller. Fortunately the impeler is fairly inexpensive and easy to replace. I believe there are one or two parts/covers to remove that are held in by a roughly half dozen torx screws.
